Keen Continues Disciplinary Hearing For Jail Supervisor

Northampton County Director of Corrections Daniel Keen has decided to continue a termination hearing scheduled for a jail supervisor who insists that corrections officers follow the rules, even those who act as snitches for Deputy Director of Administration Cathy Allen. According to informed sources, Keen wants to review whether Lieutenant Jason Rosati has disciplined others.

He has.

Now that Rosati has been denied both counsel and a prompt hearing, his suspension should be with pay.

  1. A witch hunt led by Broom-Hilda Allen. When the dust settles, the Lt. will be reinstated or the county will pay dearly in court.

  2. No other county would allow Ms. Allen to conduct this vendetta against a Employee for simply doing his job. This is a total disregard for proper proceedure and in the end will cost the county $$$$$

  3. What does your county solicitor have to say? Speak up Scomillio you are still holding the position and collecting your salary! Give Allen more advice, and watch the county pay another misguided suit by your "witty" firings!

  4. I hope this individual sues Cathy Allen personally for her abuse of power she is trying to force on a 20+ year veteran

  6. I don't think the admin knows what the witch is doing.

  7. We'll find out where Keen's loyalties lie very soon.

  8. Mr. Keen appears to have been hired by Mr. Brown to carry out Mr.Brown's wishs. This is the worst aspect of Government at all levels.Demanding loyalty above all virtues

  10. Political hacks with absolutely no consistent work experience in the government sector let alone prison administration. It is uconscionable that this is happening. Allen and greenhorn Keen leading this witch hunt? Really? Where is County Council on this? Each and everyone of them want and do micromanage something... do the right thing and step in and stop this. If Council finds something wrong happened, then so be it.

  11. It is not something council can step into and change. That is not how the home rule charter is written.

  13. After dragging his feet a year, Brown does the right thing. You'll only have to wait about 9 months.

  14. The people from the Guinness Book of World Records were at the prison today to give Director Keen the award for World's Largest Puppet! I hope Cathy Allen at least washes her hand after she pulls it out of his ass!

  15. I find it odd that those who actually work with this Lt. are not defending him and in fact it seems that just the opposite is true while on the other hand the CO that is being vilified here has a number of comments from what appear to be coworkers indicating she as well as others have been the victims of an abuse of power by this Lt. who has been out of control since well before Allen & Brown were there.

  17. 12:32 I can tell you that there were several officers and a LT waiting to testify on LT Rosati's behalf at his hearing but were denied as well.

  18. Look out for Kostora and Camile, they will be on the lookout. They have been told to trim the ranks. Sad !

  19. 7:37 it's sad because Kostura was respected at one time but unfortunately he tossed all of that respect away along with his pride. His skeletons from the past will pop up as well as some new ones. Sexually harass people much, Uncle Fester?

  20. He's more of a jellyfish than a "seal". A pathetic, suck up who will do anything to preserve his job even going as far as to sellout a fellow Deputy Warden. I guess he forgot about the word honor....

  21. I worked with Lt. Rosati when he was an officer. If something ever kicked off he was always there to back up his fellow officer.

I got a write up from Lt. Rosati. I was in violation of a policy and excepted it. There were a handful of times Lt. Rosati could have written me up for procedural errors. Instead he took the time to exam the situation with me and offer corrective advice with the knowledge that next time could result in a write up.

I know that Lt. Rosati has written officers up for procedural errors because his hands were tied. And I know he would attend those officers disciplanary hearings and argue on the officers behalf because he knew the error was not purposeful.

I also know Lt. Rosati sees the utmost importance in training because he wants his officers to be the best they can be and best prepared they can be.

Finally, when it comes to policy Lt. Rosati is willing to hear an officers objections, debate, and discuss. You may not change his mind but at least you go knowing you were heard. And if he sees your points are valid, he will take your case to his superiors.

All of the above is true and a far contrast to the monster some would like you to believe he is.
