  1. That is a seriously professional announcement. The structure, precision and conciseness of this announcement make it a work of communications art. There's no way John could have handled such an announcement as adroitly as this on his own. Sahl is worth every penny and a bargain at twice the price.

  2. That eloquent piece of prose only cost the county $500 in Pyler's time and talent.

  3. 8 am, when no one really wants to be there and in his office. Can't be a 1 or 4PM in the rotunda.

Nice work. He is learning the art of avoiding people well.

  10. That was explained and voted for very openly. When you are petty about someone being recognized for his or her efforts, you have no room to complain when you are not recognized for yours.

  22. If you want to launch an attack like this, naming someone who holds no high public office, you need to identify yourself. I don't think you would care for comments like that posted about you. I'm not sure who you mean. You can email me at BOHare5948@aol.com

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
