You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
That is a seriously professional announcement. The structure, precision and conciseness of this announcement make it a work of communications art. There's no way John could have handled such an announcement as adroitly as this on his own. Sahl is worth every penny and a bargain at twice the price.
ReplyDeleteWell said.
DeleteThat eloquent piece of prose only cost the county $500 in Pyler's time and talent.
ReplyDelete8 am, when no one really wants to be there and in his office. Can't be a 1 or 4PM in the rotunda.
ReplyDeleteNice work. He is learning the art of avoiding people well.
Sahl will provide donuts and coffee.
ReplyDeleteAnd charge the county as an "extraordinary expense."
ReplyDeleteWell..at least he's going to say something! That's a major improvement..right? What a friggin' egomaniac. Ha!
ReplyDelete8am? That has to be an error.
ReplyDeleteBernie doesn't wake up until 9.
ReplyDeleteI don't like it early, to be sure.
ReplyDeletemaybe john brown should explain how and why peg ferraro's daughter received a 20 thousand dollar a year raise ? name any one else who works for the county that ever got that kind of raise..pegs vote on anything is bought and paid for !

DeleteAgain i can name someone who just got over a 3 dollar an hour raise. but i sm sure it will be deleted. job created for someone already doing it. no posting. same way the got the job they were already doing.
DeleteThat was explained and voted for very openly. When you are petty about someone being recognized for his or her efforts, you have no room to complain when you are not recognized for yours.

I must of been out of commission during that time .I just heard about it recently ,wasn't trying to be petty ...
ReplyDeleteBernie is the public invited.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is media only. I don't believe Brown would turn an interested member of the public away.
ReplyDeleteSo what the Hell did he say?
ReplyDeleteIt's on Wednesday. Learn how to read.
ReplyDeletehave council members been invited to attend ?
ReplyDeleteIs it to announce his resignation?
ReplyDeleteThe meeting has been rescheduled to 2:30 pm.
ReplyDeleteNormal court house hours are8:30 A M TO 4 :30 PM
ReplyDeleteAnd your point is?
ReplyDeleteRescheduled in just two days? Does Brown and his band of misfits know what the hell they are doing?
ReplyDeleteWhat did he say?
ReplyDeleteJust posted.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to launch an attack like this, naming someone who holds no high public office, you need to identify yourself. I don't think you would care for comments like that posted about you. I'm not sure who you mean. You can email me at BOHare5948@aol.com
