The Nazareth Cupcakes
Then the shoes began to drop. Not only was the Stickergate prosecution rejected for constitutional reasons, but it was clear that Nazareth police were so inept they were unable even to establish any real evidence that any of the three accused Defendants had ever placed any stickers anywhere. All the evidence did reveal was a thin-skinned police chief who violated the civil rights of three people when they dared to criticize him. Judge Taschner remarked, "He needs to suck it up, Cupcake!"
Nazareth will have to suck it up. Because Borough Council allowed this situation to fester, it will now face three civil rights lawsuits from the Sticker Gang. It will also undoubtedly face another civil rights lawsuit over its ridiculous decision to fire a crossing guard that the Chief singled out because her husband had dared criticize him, too. The biggest show - it's actually more live an anvil - is the lengthy federal civil rights complaint filed by recently reinstated police officer Fred Lahovski, who received shabby treatment for daring to be critical of both Trachta and Borough Council.
See a pattern here?
It's not nice to criticize Trachta or Borough Council, so that's exactly what I did. I attended last night's workshop meeting of Borough Council, armed with cupcakes, and told them Nazareth is run by a bunch of cupcakes unwilling to take control of a runaway police chief. I pointed out that because they failed to listen to me in July, they are now facing four civil rights law suits, with at least three or four more to go. All the result of police mismanagement.
I divided the cupcakes evenly between Council and the audience. The audience accepted my offering, but Council was very indignant.
How dare I criticize them, cried out Carl Fischl and Lance Colondo. Don't I know these things take time? Don't I realize they have to be very, very, very, very careful?
Fischl assured me that I could see what kind of strong action he's taking when he makes his police committee report.
His grand solution is a study.
Rather than get rid of the bad apples, Fischl wants the state DCED to perform a police management study.
That should only take about three years..
Instead of facing this matter and dealing with it, as they were elected to do, Council is going to punt, which I understand Fischl did a great deal when he was a football coach.
These are not leaders. These are cupcakes.

Bernie, do you truly believe incompetence is why no foundation was laid for the photos at hearing?
ReplyDeleteTratcha took the pictures and was at the hearing but he was smart enough not to open himself up for "deposition by prelim" with the impending civil rights suit.
Poor Troxel had no idea his chief was playing him and still doesn't.
I am amazed that an officer working as long as Troxell does not know how to lay a foundation for photos. But it was not in Trachta's interest to lose this case so badly, so I don't think he threw Troxell to the wolves.
ReplyDelete?
ReplyDeleteI don't think Trachta let Troxell drown intentionally bc it was not in his own interest to look as bad as he did. So what I'm suggesting is that Trachta himself might have difficulties as a witness.
ReplyDeleteGood for the Nazareth leaders for acting like leaders. The Sticker gang better not order that new double wide just yet. If there is a settlement at all, it won't be nearly what these boys think it will be. Real lawyers and real judges will determine the amount their "embarrassment" is worth, if anything. It will be a lot less then they are thinking.
ReplyDeleteAgain, hang in there council and Mayor the home owning taxpayers are with you.

ReplyDeleteNo us homeowners are not with council as long as they still BACK Chief Trachta. These boys are going to get money period! Weather it be $80,000.00 or $8,000,000. They'll get it, because Chief Trachta from New York, doesn't understand laws in PA. Council needs to hire a P.I. and act on the findings!
Dear Nazareth,
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU... for giving us a place to look at and think, At least I don't live in Nazareth.
West Easton Residents
Bernie, wrong cupcakes! The Muppets were loveable, well intentioned characters who, while they occasionally would screw up, managed to get the job done right in the end!
ReplyDeleteNothing like these real life cupcakes.
At this rate, a study will be done. It will be called a federal grand jury indictment.
ReplyDeleteThe Department of Justice and US Attorney's office do not take these things lightly.
2:55 Mezzacappa - these were real lawyers, at least on the defense side. The inept parties were on the opposite side. You are trying to make this out to be about the evil men who allegedly spread some small stickers around - but it isn't about them.
ReplyDeleteCouncil is acting a lot more like sweeping things under the rug, than like "leaders". Nazareth residents like Bernie deserve a lot better.
Where are you hiding your car these days?
She is hiding from the Sheriffs, who wants to levy on her car, computer and guns. The Sheriffs have been notified that she is scheduled to be in the courthouse Tuesday for argument court. If she fails to cooperate and disclose to the Sheriff where these assets are, the next step will be to have her held in contempt. If she continues to hide, we will seek a body warrant.
ReplyDeleteReally Bernie, just give the system a chance to work. From what I heard not even the town people thought your cupcake stunt was funny. You are embarrassing our town. Grow up!

ReplyDeleteA private Investigator was brought in. It included over 100 hours of work consisting of interviews with Police Officers, the Chief and other Police agency's Also a few civilians
When the findings didn't produce what they "wanted" he was kicked to the curb and silenced . Ironic how this has been kept so quiet. Wonder why???
Hmmm. If this is true, then the cupcakes are definitely stonewalling and sand bagging while denying it.
ReplyDelete"Really Bernie, just give the system a chance to work. From what I heard not even the town people thought your cupcake stunt was funny. You are embarrassing our town. Grow up!"
ReplyDeleteI am incapable of embarrassing Nazareth. I can only embarrass myself bc I speak only for myself. But having been there, I know that most of the audience though the cupcakes were funny and ate them, while most of borough council was very insulted at being told the truth about themselves. They have no intention of leading, and would prefer to be cupcakes.
"You are embarrassing our town. Grow up"
ReplyDeleteUm, no - following your logic, Bernie would be embarrassing himself if he were "acting like a child." In my opinion he is not.
The town leaders are the ones who should be embarrassed, and it sounds like some are from the quotes in the meeting. Now they need to do something about it.
My little daughter can not take cupcakes to school to celebrate her birthday with her classmates just the same way I used to do when I was a little boy ... how could George Bush have manipulated everything to make America suck so much now?
ReplyDeleteBernie, Can you own her autoloader?HAAAAA! Get the rigging too . Want her for levy? Well she can be found. She can't hide from technology but she knows the Deputies go home at 4 or so .Might have to call Ghostbusters.
ReplyDelete"She is hiding from the Sheriff, who wants to levy on her car, computer and guns..."
ReplyDeleteBernie,
She usually makes a spectacle of herself at the West Easton Borough Council meetings. The next one is Monday, September 8, at 7 pm. Serve her there. PERFECT!!!
Maybe the StickerGang should serve her!
ReplyDeleteIf they could legally serve a writ of execution, I'd be all for it. She's hiding out somewhere, and has hidden her car. When she comes to argument court on Tuesday, she will have to speak to sheriffs.
ReplyDeleteBlog Mentor is a cupcake.
ReplyDeleteA body warrant?
ReplyDeleteIs that something you gay people use when having same sex anal sex?
Blog Mentor is still a cupcake.

As an outside observer, don't you think handcuffing and shackling people for putting up tiny stickers is a bit overbearing and meant to intentionally embarrass these people?
It's funny to hear a Nazareth "property owner" bash double wides when you live in the ass crack known as Nazareth too. As if a house in Nazareth is any better.
Funny that Tricia Mazzafuckingcrazy thinks she can "hide" her car. Yeah, that;ll work. What a simpleton.
ReplyDeleteBetween her and the Nazareth crew, you wonder why the LV still has a hayseed reputation.
Hey Danny Boy, should have donated the cupcakes to the Nazareth Area Food Bank. What a waste of a human being, I mean food.
