I have attempted to contact Benuck and Senator Boscola without success. A manager at Brickhaus tells me she was not working last night, and will inquire with the owner. But she also told me he probably won't call back because it could affect his business.
A few hours after this blog posted, The Inky's Commonwealth Confidential ran with it after speaking to Boscola. The Senator admits she was at the bar, which apparently is a Republican hangout, admits she was tossed, but denies hitting anyone. She declines to say whether she was drinking, although that seems highly likely.

Boscola had statements for everyone but the person who broke the story.

I think I just got Lisa to start talking to me again after several years, and then I post this.
It's a facebook rant by someone I don't know. I considered not posting it at all, but decided to let it go and assume everyone is smart enough to weigh this tale with caution. Because Boscola is an elected state senator, I decided to go with it.
This story is likely not newsworthy unless it is developed with more detail. But it passes the bottom feeding blogger test.

The problem with Harrisburg is that too many of its Senators and Legislators go to these damn bars and conduct business. Republicans and Democrats who both frequent these places are just as guilty as the idiot who loses their temper and cold-cocks someone. Going to a bar after business and discussing the days business is one thing. To go to a bar and argue about done deals is another. Lisa has to learn that the Republicans will do what they want, when they want, and until her party takes control of the state and the senate it will stay that way.

Also, I never believed she was sober after 30 days rehab that she entered after getting a DUI. First, a person does not "simply" get a DUI. They usually get away with it hundreds of times; thus indicating a pattern of addictive behavior. She went into rehab to quash public opinion calling for her ouster and to appease the court for leniency and an ARD disposition. Her comment in the morning call after her rehab that she will never drink alcohol again and she now prefers her favorite drink...tea with lemon, was and is complete and utter bullshit. Mind like a steal trap.
