Emeril's featuring Girl Scout cookies in February deserts |
Who can say No to Emeril Lagasse's culinary concoctions? Who can say No to Girls Scout cookies? For the second year in a row, Emeril and the Girl Scouts have "kicked it up a notch". Girl Scouts supply the cookies and Stacy Calles, chef de cuisine at Emeril's Chop House, transforms them into magnificent desserts like caramel de lite coconut cream pie or chocolate chip shortbread mascarpone mousse. Emeril's will offer these desserts during the month of February at its three Sands Casino Resort restaurants in Bethlehem.
In addition to the Chop House, Burgers and More and Emeril's Italian Table are located at the casino, and can be visited by a minor who is accompanied by an adult.
Before offering these treats to the public, they were first taste-tested by Bethlehem-area girl scouts, Troop 880, as they kicked off National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend on February 7.

Spell check please for desert/dessert
I always blame my auto-speller.
You shouldn't post the full names of children with their pictures.
Thank you for noticing mu spelling error. I have corrected it and am somewhat chastened bc I did spell it wrong and can't blame anyone.
10:48, I would never post pictures of these children without permission from one of their parents. I believe that is their decision, not yours. I use the full name bc the parents are proud and want their friends, family and neighbors to know about the child's achievment. It goes that way in the paper as well.
The last thing I'd ever want to do is threaten a child's security, but you haven't given me a basis for thinking this does.
If the child has controversial parents and I have a concern that someone might go after that person through the child, then I do not use the last name.
No problem. Sometimes parents don't think though.
Well see, I believe this is a parent's decision.
I bet you don't tell the parents what your blog is and your known reputation. I feel bad for the children but is what you do.
