Brown Eyes Mime For Director of Admin

In addition to nominating a voice over artist as Director of Economic Development, Northampton County Executive John Brown is reportedly close to inking a deal to fill out the rest of his cabinet.

Marcel Marceau II, son of the iconic mime, has just arrived from Paris, and is expected to start this week as Director of Administration. Brown hopes to use this artist for media relations as well, along with his reports to Council.

Zoolander hand model J.P. Prewett is also under serious consideration for Director of Public Works.

"All I need now are a few carnies, and we'll be good to go," noted the Executive, before leaving for his daily luncheon with the Lehigh Valley Partnership.

  3. At this point. This would be Browns best move. I have heard he was told not to talk to any Democrat not approved by some "group" advising him.

    what is the guys deal?

  6. What a disappointment. Thought Brown with all the people he interviewed would have come up with better choices. And if he waits much longer, no good candidate will want to work with this group...or him. Very concerning for Northampton County.

  12. Political sausage making notwithstanding, the fact that Bernie is becoming more unhinged about Brown with each passing day reassures that my anti-Callahan vote was the correct one.

  13. Interesting. You refer to an executive appointment as political sausage-making. You also state that yours was an anti-Callahan vote. In other words, you did not vote for Brown but are willing to defend mediocrity. Thanks for your unwitting honesty.

  14. It was quite witting. Brown was the lesser of two evils and your guy was a particular breed of political turd. Politics sucks. And then they raise your taxes.

  15. If his early days are any indication, Brown is going to be a disaster far worse than anything we've seen. That's what happens when you base votes on hate.

  16. I sure would not want to be one of the a
personel committee members who have to say yes to this crap.

  18. I hope the county council gives all these picks a close look. They all seem to have a bit of dodgyness to them.

Were these people pursued or did they ask? Also I was unaware of that Brown was asking for applicants. Was there any advertisements? My take is even for executive picks you should advertise per law?

  19. Without getting into particular political races I for one definitely vote for the lesser of the two evils. Undecided
