Obamacare Web Page Finally Working

Don't believe me? Check it here. Just click on "Apply Now."

  1. It's working in a Potemkin way. You feel like you've accomplished something, but you haven't. It can't process payments and therefor is not really working, as insurance contracts require payment to be in effect. The website makes you feel better about being thrown onto a growing pile of paper applications that cannot be processed because the back end of the website isn't working and won't be anytime soon.

  3. I was wondering if anyone would get the joke.

  4. Real funny, Bernie. Almost as funny as what Corbett is doing to deny low income people access to expanded Medicaid.

Say, why don't you apply for a job with the Corbett Administration. I think it would be a perfect fit. You could always come back to blogging after Corbett is booted out next year.

  5. Wow Bernie....you sure hit a nerve with 2:15pm. I imagine you made fun of a liberal progressive president and ACA which liberals will have none of that type of name calling being said about their mesiah. But they can call any republican or conservitive anything they want because they are the only people who are right. Liberals can dish it out, but they will not allow it to be thrown their way. amazing

  6. According to Oprah, Bernie's a racist, even though he saw The Color Purple to keep up appearances. The evidence is overwhelming.

  7. Bernie, since you have now been accused of hating liberals and conservatives, one should probably conclude, you're doing something right,

  9. 2:32, have you read this blog or the media sites???

The teabaggers are the most hateful group out there. You have no humor and only laugh when you can carry pictures of Obama dressed in an African costume.

Not surprised someone calling himself "banker" would laugh. Need more bailout money for your stupidity?

You guys need to dig up more of those dinosaur bones the devil planted to try and debunk evolution.

  12. A hater or two on here I see. Tea baggers as u call them are people who are married and are trying to raise decent children. We know someone messed up here big time with you but its time to grow up and except many others have loving moms and dads and grandparents who love them back. These teabaggers are you enemy and therefore you become as non existent to them as you obviously are. We have a life a family a husband or wife a job or 2 and we don't take what we don't need. Now all and no one can't be ignored but most of us try. And we do accept that some are just mean and hateful. You take Obamacare and I'll take loving friends and families any day..

  13. So anyone that agrees with the idea of affordable health care has no family.

You teabaggers are great. The Koch brothers and Rupert Murdoch have trained you well young one. When is the next flat earth society meeting?

  15. Now that we have seen another month of improved job growth and a growing market, how long will it take for Republican s to create another financial crisis or shut down? We have seen this too many times. Seems they will play with the financial stability of the Country for the purpose of political gain. Republican brinksmanship has hurt our economy. No one at my place of employment because of healthcare reform. Not one. However many across the Company have lost their job or are on furlough over the Holidays because of the shutdown. That was clear in a corporate email.

Let's not forget all federal workers received back pay after the shut down. Federal contractors were forced to take vacation or leave without pay.

  16. "Seems they will play with the financial stability of the Country for the purpose of political gain".

11:48: Absolutely correct. The GOP counts on the fact that many people blame the President, not Congress, for whatever happens to the economy. They were counting on that to win in 2012. Didn't quite work, and it looks like it will not work in 2014 either. They will keep trying.

  17. Everyone should consider the effects the GOP tactics have had on the stock market and growth potential of retirement funds, public and private.

Let's not forget that S&P downgrade was because if a Congress induce crisis.

The debt reduction. Super committee was a monumental failure leading to an even more reckless sequestration.

  18. You are one comment away from blaming Bush. Get over yourselves.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 2:57 You want me to blame Bush, I'm happy to do it. God knows he deserves it. But, as they say, time marches on.

Getting over ourselves has nothing to do with it. It's all about trying to help the people the Republicans are trying to hurt. And although there are many examples, their opposition to Obamacare is Exhibit A.

  20. Rick "the ooze" Santorum comparing Obamacare to Nazism is a pretty good example of how fucked up the teabagger right wing fringe really is.
