County Exec Debate at NCC on October 22

A debate between Northampton County Executive candidates John Brown and John Callahan will take place at  Northampton Community College on October 22. When I know the exact time and place, I'll let you know. I believe The Express Times is helping make this happen.

  1. J Brown will tear old Johnny Casino a new one. Callahan is weak on the issues.

  3. Brown is the WORST mayor in Bangors history. The damage he would do on the county level, if elected, would take decades to correct. Send this turd into retirement from politics.

  4. Brown is finished. He's wasted $7K. Callahan covered up a destroyed %60K police car, but covered the cost using a cover up and insurance fraud. Callahan is a can-do guy. At the debate, Callahan will announce a huge tax rebate using casino cash; keeping his often repeated promise. Callahan is a promise keeper.

  5. I want the Callahan team to debate the Brown team. Let's hear from the Council candidates. Where will the council debate be held? The Dem's have strong candidates and the R's have Ferraro who likes to think she's a Dem. The vote for Callahan will be so strong that he will bring the five dem's with him. The r's are hurting with their tea-party mentality and sell Gracedale attitude. Now they want us to forget about Gracedale.Ain't gonna happen Bernie. This election is all over.
By the way, did you hear about the voter poll taken by the D's. According to the rumors around the courthouse and stories coming from some pretty good sources, The poll shows O'donnell garnering a high vote based on his name regognition. I don't know if it's true, but it also shows Hunter in serious trouble. That is very hard to believe since she was #1 in the primary. What are you hearing?

  6. O'Donnell is projected to be top vote getter. He is smart he teamed up with Borzo ensuring she will be bumped by Ferraro.

The question is do people know the guy is not all there?

  7. I think You better catch up on the times Brown has a local businessman from Bethlehem willing to back Him with a whole lot of funds....old JC did'nt see this coming!!!!

  8. If he has lots of funds and wants to waste it, I have several bridges for sale. All the money in the world can't help a terrible candidate. ask Mitttt Romeyyyy

  9. Nobody wanted to run for mayor in bangor after the crappy job Brown did. People know things are really screwed up, and the next mayor has a mess to clean up. And expect a large tax-increase to offset the 1/2 mil reduction (which was paid for by firing several key employees), and the settlement payments to the police chief he had fired.

  10. Will Greggy be moderating via Skype?

  11. Jim Gregory is still a candidate for Mayor of Bethlehem. Please write in his name if you are dissatisfied with the status quo.

  12. This quiet period before the race is always difficult for those on the inside. I just have to say "a business man in the city of Bethlehem" quote is the best. followed by us shaking in our shoes over this mass of money he has. He is broke people. His Job in Bangor is humorous. All the guy has authority for as mail is the police and fire......and guess what he even F'd that up to the point that the rest of the area wants to join but only if Bangor is not included....LMAO! if you could honestly vote for this guy, god help you... if we even mention this guys name it can only help some of the lowest recognition numbers I have ever see.
