Children's and youth clothing and school supply donations will be accepted at the Lehigh County Government Center at 7th and Hamilton through August 19th, throughout the day of sorting and set up. 1. really? helping lehigh county kids with some gently used clothing is making a difference? perhaps cheryl can donate her clothing line. those children will be (at least) well dressed when they enter the system. Whose feel-good idea was this? If this is the best course of action that OCYS can come up with to help children enter foster care, than goodness help us.

LCOCYS would be better equipped by stop focussing on nonsense like this and start reforming policy and procedures. They also might be better served by tapping into their home grown resources.

It's rather sad when the Director recommends a caseworker to adopt special needs children from her father's organization (Diakon) and then casts him aside due to political pressure so the agency can hold fundraisers to get children luggage. They wouldn't need luggage if people did their job.
