You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Congratulations and prayers for God's blessings to Fr. Alex! God is good. This is just more proof. Thank you for keeping us updated these past years, Bernie.

ReplyDeleteNo blog mentor?
ReplyDeleteYep. You bet there was. It wasn't good, either.
ReplyDeleteHe was a no show, but I suspect he is going to be held accountable for his filthy comments.
ReplyDeleteNice accomplishment...congratd
ReplyDeleteThis is nice to hear!
ReplyDeleteFather Alex has made us all proud. The turnout was great, the service beautiful and I was happy to see MAyor Panto there -- he is a loyal supporter of the Lebanese community and a good friend of father Alex's father.
ReplyDeleteI just deleted a comment from the Blog Mentor. He had threatened to disrupt Fr. Alex' ordination and first mass, but was too much of a coward to do anything that might actually expose him to a physical confrontation. But it might be too late for that. Easton's Lebanese community is very tight-knit, and pay very close attention when one of their own is smeared. In this case, it is a priest who is being attacked with lies. I can't see this ending well for the Blog Mentor.

ReplyDeleteI am VERY proud of Fr. Alex. I also loved Bishop Gregory's gentle humor.
Don't worry. The length of time before a party can be sued has not run out. I think there is definitely a lawsuit in the works seeking to clear the priest's good name. We will see how sharpe the attorney is on this one before all of the bad things said about the priest go poOf on the blog mentor's site.
ReplyDeleteWhat bad words? I have read none on here.
ReplyDeleteThat's bc I delete them. They are in abundance at another site.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations as well, we are lucky to have Fr. Alex in our community.
ReplyDeleteThe Banker
