Here in the Lehigh Valley, we have our very own unelected aristocracy, a group of bluebloods who think they run things. And maybe they do. I'm referring of course, to the Lehigh Valley Partnership. This group has bought and paid for Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski. He is shoving an unpopular water lease down the throats of the masses, despite popular opposition.
Because those silly citizens know nothing, the Partnership has purchased an ad it intends to run in The Morning Call this week. A copy was leaked to me. Your betters have told you to shut up.

Bernie, Thanks or leaking ad based on average savings of 400 dollars annually on the water bills, most users will be getting free water. The list of business has only Six from Allentown, why not more,or since it mentionsjob creation for l,v. means they benifit at the expense of AllENTOWN, especially the Bank of Bangor,
Great News!!!!!
This came out of that wonderful Visioning Process. Excellent job. Thanks to all.
Our betters also told us to vote for Callahan in the Democrat primary.
Being dictated to by the big guys, whether business or political or both, sucks.
Actually, the Fleck-backed candidate is Glenn Reibman.
Partnership is quietly backing brown
Thank you to all these wonderful businesses and institutions. Water privatization might not have happened without their support. I for one won't soon forget their support for private water.
Thank you do much, one and all.
...so much..
Whole lots of railroading going on in the Lehigh valley without a single train involved. The arena, Chrin TIF, city water sale and the Hamilton Crossings TIF and Jaindl in Lehigh county.
The average taxpayer never stood a chance.
is that $400.00 savings the amount the water bill will NOT be raised?
who uses 400.00/yr worth of water?

Plenty of small business's , and more than a few residential users with pools, gardens, lots of kids etc.
Your out of touch.
Didn't LCA partially fund the RENEWLV study on water regionalization? What happended to the plan for the Northern tier authority? Was the draft report modified? Why did RENEWLV choose to ignore well maintained systems that were already regionalized? Is this really about regionalizing the Debt?
Thank you RENEW LV. And a special thanks to Mr. Jennings and his devotees at CACLV. Couldn't have done it without you. THANKS AGAIN! XXX OOO

Picky , picky.
Kim Velez's employer, LVHN, supports the water privitatization effort and is making all kinds of deals with the mayor and she is going to be a voice for good goverment and independence
Yeah. Okay. I get it.
And J B Riely is a recent former LVHN Board member.
Sure. Velez for open goverment.
She scares you, doesn't she?
If she is who she says she is, and why not give her the benefit of the doubt, and she wins, she had better start looking for a new job.
She scares you, doesn't she?
