Who Is Frank Hesch?

After filing his nomination petitions on Tuesday, Frank Hesch III today formally announced his candidacy for one of five at-large Northampton County Council seats. He filed close to double the required number of petition signatures.

Hesch is a lifelong resident of Northampton County. He graduated from Northampton Area High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Moravian College. He promises to bring "a business and commonsense approach to County government.”

“This is a great area in which to grow up, work and raise a family,” Hesch said. “I want to make sure it stays that way. I want to give back to the place I am proud to call home.”

Hesch is Operations Manager for his family’s automotive business. Before getting involved with his family’s business, Hesch built a client-centered financial planning practice as an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor.

He is a Republican.

    Bernie, any idea on how many names the various candidates rounded up?

    There are 16 candidates. Each of them filed reams of petitions. Some of those petitions are only partially filled.

    I was going to count each one of them and report it, but it's really too time-consuming. Instead, I am going to go back and look at who circulated. That way you can get a rough idea of where their support is coming from. Sound good?

    I do not know him personally but I know the Whitehall Area Chamber was very productive under his leadership.

    Yeah, it worked so well with the crew elected in 2009. We almost lost Gracedale and we got an uneeded overproced building.
