  1. I'll attend if they serve a FREE tax-payer provided meal!

  2. This is a Great Disservice.

If Dent cared about working families, he would not be holding his town halls during business hours. They would be held at 7pm in the evening.

  3. Dent’s town hall in Hamburg was from 3 to 4 pm.

In Hershey it was between 1 and 2 pm.

In West Hanover Township it was from 4 to 5 pm.

In Annville it was between 1 and 2 pm.

Can you spare a vacation day?

  5. A map of his and Cartwrigh's districts will make you vomit. Politicians suck.

  6. I like Dent but the point being made here is valid - doing these during business hours makes it near impossible for people to attend, and that's a mistake.

  7. 8.5 million Americans who used to get up and go to work, no longer do. It's a handout society and those with hands out are available during working hours. Those still pulling the cart are outnumbered and not part of the process anymore. Charlie has figured this out.

  8. I'm afraid you guys are correct. Charlie is a RINO. He does things, decides things, to insulate himself from ever losing his job. It's not always what works best for you and I.

Having a Town Hall during regular working hours is either lazy or by design.

This guy, and many others, need to be replaced.

    (and I'm registered Republican)

  9. Actually, you're an extremist. Having his 5th town hall of the year during normal business hours is not what bothers you, or you'd be clamoring to dump Toomey. He does the same thing. But you will pick on this issue that you don't give a shit about because you don't like Dent's moderate stands on some matters. Extremists like you and Joe Hilliard are what is wrong with the R party.

  10. Bernie, not at all!

If Toomey does the same thing, he is equally wrong. I don't know anything bout Joe Hilliard. In my sphere, I can only ask who's that?

What I DO know is, these are scary times. We need politicians, of any stripe, to do things of actual substance. We need politicians to propose and stick to specifics. We do not need the "same old, same old." That's what got us where we are.

You can call me extreme. Here's the deal, our country is is big trouble. Extreme changes ARE necessary. The water is rising and we are about to drown.

So, yes, I am extreme, and proud of it.

  12. I came away feeling sequestration will happen. It has been suggested the President will not agree to cuts with out revenue and Conservatives will not deal with any sources of revenue...even loopholes or subsidies.

We can start with an immediate 5% cut in House and Senate budgets. They can do what most municipalities do, downsize through attrition. If that is not possible, reduce benefits.

I have seen the layoffs. I have experienced the cut in benefits. Time for our decision makers to share the burden and carry some of the water too.

No more snow days in DC. It is leave without pay or vacation time fellas.
