  5. All those years of schooling and trying to perfect the English language and I cannot have a sentence without a run-on or choose the proper use of the word "their" or "there" or "they're." English is a funny language.

  6. I can't wait. I love Lebanese food. Even more than turkey.

  7. This Thanksgiving the good lord has given to all some very hot pics of the Mizz Mezzacappa on her award winning blog! After seeing her in all her glory I can see why you were so jilted Bern!

  8. Mongo, I saw her blog. Wow! Talk about a narcissistic personality disorder!

To those of you who are curious, she posted two old pictures of herself with this comment: "The real problem is that Kelly and her pals are bloated, out of shape dummies with plenty-o-cellulite, and no intellect. Is it really that bad to accept the fact they you [sic] will NEVER EVER look like me?"

  10. A twenty yarder is one who looks great from twenty yards. Upon closer inspection, you see the tragedy of gravity from the long face to the flapjacks to the moose knuckle. No amount of sun and bleaching can change this. Yikes.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

Just when someone praised you for your graphics...

  13. I've never visited her blog. Don't do porn sites, granny or otherwise.

This year, in addition to the real important things in life, we're thankful that the Fighting Irish are, finally, #1 again!

    Happy Thanksgiving, Bernie!

  14. "we're thankful that the Fighting Irish are, finally, #1 again!"

On that we can agree, Clem. I have two friends who go to every game during the season, and they live here! They did it during the losing years, too.

  16. Bernie, I've read this on two blogs: "There is a rumor floating around that Bernie O'Hare is working as a bus driver for the Easton Coach company. I dug around and found out Callahan got him the job, and now owns his blog. I guess Angle ran out of cash, and O'Hare has to actually work."

    Care to comment?

  17. I saw the accusations yesterday along with several epithets. And they wonder why I call them goons. No, I am not a driver at Easton Coach or anywhere else, nor has Callahan purchased my blog. This is just more disinformation from people driven by hatred, even at Thanksgiving.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
