You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
This will give more time to manipulate the big BROWN WATERHOLE DEAL¿

ReplyDeleteAbsentee Ballot Applications were due in by Tomorrow, 5:00pm, but now the County office will be closed. I drove my application in today and had to walk the last 4 blocks. The roads were closed in the area surrounding the Gov't center because of debris flying from the bank demolition at Hamilton.
ReplyDeleteNo answer from the Voter's office on whether the deadline for absentee applications will be extended or whether the weather-related closing is grand conspiracy to rig the elections. Republican's are blaming the Democrat administrations but Democrats are blaming Republicans for global warming.

NLVLogic, As you probably know, when the office has to be closed on the last day for filing, everyone gets an extra day.
ReplyDeleteYes, but thats not quite what they said on the phone, so I made the trip . . . safely I might add. nlv
ReplyDeleteGov Corbett has extended the deadline on a county-by-county basis. A county gets an extension for each day their courthouse is closed, but no later than Nov 2.
