Lehigh County will offer free “anything with a plug” recycling events to be held at three different locations on September 22, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Bring your toasters, cylons and other electronic toys to the following locations:
Lehigh Carbon Community College at 4525 Education Park Dr. in Schnecksville
Olympus Corporate Headquarters at 3500 Corporate Parkway in Center Valley
Lowe's Home Improvement at 1235 Martin Court in Bethlehem, PA
Small businesses with less than 50 employees are also welcome to bring their obsolete electronic equipment.
All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries.

Must you be a Lehigh County resident to participate?
The news release does not say you must be a LC resident. I think NC is close enough.
I'm glad they are handling the items in a responsible way. Saw a show on some computer recycling companies that would sell the old computers to the chinese who in turn would reclaim the metals on the inside. It is a toxic process , the town is destroyed.
Well, that's China for 'ya.
Yeah, so much pollution all over nobody's really gonna notice the piles of pc's and printers anyway.
It all blends together
Good I can finally get rid of all those frakin toasters!
What the frak?
Be careful recycling computers or anything that has a hard drive/contains information. Just deleting files doesn't remove them, and you could inadvertently be turning over confidential information.
Wonder why we're using a Philly company to do the recycling instead of a local one? AERC and Sustainable Waste Solutions come to mind.
Does Marcel Groen own eForce Compliance too?
Seems like they should have more drop off locations than the ones mentioned.
