Sy Traub is an "Honorous" Man

Sy "Honorous" Traub
That's what Julio "I speak three languages Guridy" said about NIZ Board nominee Sy Traub at last night's Allentown City Council last night.

I think that's supposed to be a good thing.

Guridy was also happy to see that Nelson Diaz and Pedro Torres were nominated, stating he "wanted Hispanics."

Of course, there's nothing bigoted about Guridy's racial preference.

  3. I believe Bernie to be an honorous man. I also believe that Julio could claim fluency in a fourth language, were he to master English.

  4. As a racial minority in Allentown, I find Guridy's message hurtful and intimidating. Mr. Guridy sounds like the racist bigot to me.

  5. Was hat Guridy gesagt?

Ich kann ihn nie verstehen ...

    STADTBEWOHNER,
    DEMOKRATISCHE STADT DER LEUTE

  6. And a Nazi makes a bigoted comment how appropriate for this blog.

  7. Q: How do you know when Julio is mispronouncing something?

A: Whenever his lips move - in any language.

  8. I find that the people who make these charges all the time are usually themselves the bigots. The fact of the matter is that Guridy's command of English is so poor I rarely know what the hell he is saying, and he makes up words like "honorous" to overcoming his intellectual shortcomings. Then Guridy himself is among the first to call others racist and he thinks nothing of brazenly seeking inappropriate quotas.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics.
