Would You Like to Be Bethlehem's New Controller?

Bethlehem City Council will be accepting applications until the end of January for the position of City Controller, from which Meg Holland resigned last week. According to Council Prez Eric Evans, the successful candidate must be a resident.

Gee, I think Steve Barron is a Bethlehem resident.

  3. Will the wife or brother-in-law get the job? Or perhaps Reichard. Then the corruption could be complete.

  4. According to the Express Times this morn the City owes the school district 3 months of EIT money from 2011. Glad to see our leaders are fulfilling their financial obligations. NOT

  6. By all accounts, there's no back story. I heard that her daughter was very active in Meg's private firm and she has left to take another job and Meg really DOES have to concentrate on her business.

I think it also factors in the Meg is not particularly political, so she just did what she had to do.
