Stone Farmhouse or Applebutter Village?
Should a historic stone farmhouse be shoved out of the way for a mobile home park? Yesterday, I told you that landfills, sewage treatment plants and trailer parks tend to go hand in hand. The Eddie Smith Trailer Park, located in Exeter Township, went a little further. It was actually built on top of an abandoned landfill.

ReplyDeleteWithout a picture of the site plan, that picture of some random park in Berks County is 100% irrelevant.
You've taken pictures of site plans before at meetings. Why not this for this project?

ReplyDeleteActually, I don't think that trailer park is very nice, either. The streets are narrow and the homes are crammed together.

ReplyDeleteBecause there was no formal presentation. There is a plan, bur it is being replaced on 7/14, and that is when I'll take a picture. Incidentally, I rarely photograph plans.
