Gracedale Goons Intrude on School Board Race

One of my readers, whose name I'll keep to myself, has passed this along. "During and after tonight's candidate forum for EASD region ll, some gal wearing a Save Gracedale sweatshirt was passing out literature against Ronnie DelBacco's stance on Gracedale....at a school board debate. The League of Women Voters was horrified when, too late, they learned of this. See... Ronnie ain't all bad, cut him some slack."

DelBacco appeared at a County Council meeting in November to complain that, while he was at the polls in Easton, Gracedale enthusiasts misrepresented what was happening and were obtaining signatures under "false pretenses."

It appears that any criticism of the Gracedale Goons will be remembered and punished.

  1. When you run for office all is fair game. This is relevant because if this is his attitude about the disabled and elderly people, what will he be like with kids.

Maybe he will suggest privatizing the cafeteria to McDonalds and having logos tattooed on the pupils to save money.

Legitimate issue to bring out this guys record.

  3. Worked for the teabaggers last year and at healthcare Town meetings. I guess it just depends on who is the "mob" and what do they want.

  4. Billy J - I think the message being conveyed here is that the goons do what they please, without any regard for the rules in civilized society. The League of Women Voters specifically forbids this kind of activity at their events. But the goon ignored that.
McDonalds and tattooed logos? I guess you couldn't come up with anything of substance.

  6. The League of Women Voters is not bipartisan, despite their feigned indignation.
