Att'y Ed Koren to Take on Jim Martin for Lehigh County DA

Below is a message from Rick Orloski, addressed to Lehigh County Dems:

"My good friend, Attorney Edward Koren, is collecting signatures to get on the ballot to run for District Attorney of Leigh County.

"Ed has spent his life in law enforcement. He started as a young man working for the Secret Service assigned to the White House to protect the life of President Jimmy Carter.

"Ed decided to return home to Pennsylvania and joined the Pennsylvania State Police as a Trooper. He rose steadily through the ranks retiring as a Lieutenant after being the Director of Troop M's Crime Lab in Bethlehem and thereafter as head of the Fogelsville barracks. He has supervised 50+ troopers and has extensive investigative and prosecutorial experience.

"Koren: one tough cop for District Attorney.

"I have attempted to get Petitions to get Ed onto the ballot into the hands of Democratic activists. By now, you should have received one. If not, call my office and we will mail one to you. Better yet, stop by my office at 111 North Cedar Crest Blvd and pick one up.

"Your help in getting this distinguished cop/lawyer on the ballot will be greatly appreciated.

  3. Ed Koren is an excellent choice against Jim "Bully" Martin.

Koren is a real gentleman and true professional against Martin, an arrogant, obnoxious, pompous, and elitist S.O.B.

  4. Where does Koren practice? How many cases has he tried as a lawyer?

Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics.
