  1. Sometimes I may disagree with you and get frustrated by your spin on certain issues , but it's also the time of year for new beginnings so ...merry Christmas and a happy new year.

  2. Hurray for snow!!!!! The monkey family is set for a snow day, or days, as we have plenty of milk, eggs, bread, beer and hot chocolate. And fruit loops. These are our essentials. But, WHERE IS THE SNOW??? Weather Underground says we have a 100% chance of snow starting at 7 AM - this better not be a bust of a storm! Santa got us new sleds, so we want to bust them out TODAY.

I hope you had a good Christmas, Bernie! Thanks for all the great blogging you've done this past year (and years before) - you've provided a consistently great read, and I really appreciate it. Thank you!

  3. My thanks to you, Monkey Momma. Your kind words are very much appreciated.

Fruit loops? You sound ready for the snow. My grandson is busy w/ his Kinect. I'm finally caught up on my sleep, and look forward to tonight's Blizzard Bowl between the Vikings and Eagles. Can't believe the NFL is considering a postponement.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
