You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
OK, I guess. Such a minor Jewish holiday.
ReplyDeleteWill you wish issue a special greeting to Christians on The Feast of the Assumption?
The reason to wish Jews a Happy Hanukkah at this time of the year is primarily for their children. It is Christmas time. And Jewish children should not fell like they are "different" or that they should be deprived of gifts simply because they do not go to a certain church. So even though it is a minor holiday, a good Christian will always try to express good wishes to a Jewish person at this time of year. I frankly know very little about the Jewish religion and you apparently know very little about the true meaning of Christianity.
ReplyDeleteAnd a Happy Hanukkah to you Bernie!
ReplyDeleteRon Angle is the only local politician to be condemned by the Anti-Defamation League. He was asked to resign in a Resolution passed by County council.
ReplyDeletePlease Bernie, don't pretend to have any real Jewish love as you protect and defend a proven anti-Semite.
