Ed Pawlowski Seeks Spot on Democratic State Committee

Allentown Mayor Edwin Pawlowski would like a spot on the Democratic State Committee, and he's looking for people to circulate his nomination petition, as well as one for gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato.

I'd say this sounds like a job for Pawlowski's knockers, but they're probably all in jail or rehab.

Update: Capitol Ideas has posted a copy of Pawlowski's email.

  1. The whereabouts of the Knockers?

    Ouch!

    :)

It's okay, I am quite confident ACORN can help Pawlowski out, if necessary.

  4. They include Erlinda Aguiar (who drove a city car to and from a political function), Donna Cruciani
Michael Fegley (Allentown Brew Works), Rob Hopkins & James Spang (anonymous robocall campaign against Lou Hershman), Susan Rutt & Patricia Smith-Mendsen.

  5. Rick Daugherty is the chair of Lehigh County Dems, but is not on the state committee.

  6. Got it - thank you.

  7. Ohare, you should delete yourself. Another vile and hateful post from the King of Scum!

So these poor people are either homeless or in a recovery center. That sort of summarizes your life up to the present.

  8. At least Ed is stimulating the economy. He will now have to pay for childcare for a whole weekend. Think of all the money his babysitter will make! He is creating jobs in Allentown people. Door knockers and babysitters. That is a mayor we can believe in.

  11. Wow, what do you think his ultimate goal is. I hear he wants to be Governor. Can that possibly be true that he thinks that highly of himself? His campaign workers, the knockers, and others like his so called manager, I forget his name. They are living a dream baby, just a dream.

  12. Why shouldn't Ed think highly of himself? He has the support of the state Democrat apparatus and the city's Democrat voters.

  13. Bernie,

I can get you a petition to nominate Mayor Ed. Here's how:

Email Mike Fleck at mike@allentownmayor.com with your address and phone number and a petition will be delivered to your home or office.

Residency in Lehigh County is optional.

    Peace, ~~Alex

  16. Sorry Bern,

Something wrong with the web access down here. That's why I couldn't sign in.

I think Mayor Fenty had the public works push the remnants of the snow removal efforts onto our computer's router.

    Peace, ~~Alex

  17. Courtney Robinson the Lehigh County 2nd Vice-Chair is also running as Rob Hopkins decided not to run. Fegley, Spang and Robinson announced they were running before Ed decided he was running.

  18. heard along the way that Lehigh County Chair Rick Doherty is campaigning in Northampton county for a new county chair that is on the lehigh county ex. board by the name of mike lews and mayor ed supports this. is there a dividing line in the county or is it open season on any county you want. how can a guy from lehigh county run in northampton county. i guess that mayor ed paloski has that figerred out to.

  19. Ohare hates the poor people in Jail or in rehab.

Considering your past Bernie I would think you would be more charitable!

  20. You might think about being nicer. It might just be that you need to reserve a spot in rehab for yourself. We're always the last to know.

  21. Laws is the office manager for the lehigh county dems. He lives in Norco. And I'll point out that Joe Long pushed for Sam Bennett the last time there was an opening in Lehigh County. It looks like Rick might be returning the favor. The difference is that Rick is right... norco dems do need a new chair.
