You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Can you say back pedal?
ReplyDeleteWell, it beats the Charles Barkley method of retraction (i.e. he was misquoted in his autobiography).
ReplyDeleteA local Union guy nade a stupid statement and the National spanked him, case closed.
ReplyDeleteYou wingnuts are amazing. We suffered through eight years of Bushisms and this gets you off.

ReplyDeletewho is this guy who is gonna censor local leader? is he national leader of seiu?
It was the SEIU nat'l spokesman who censured the local prez.
ReplyDeleteListen to the audio -- it defines how out of touch the union movement for public employees really is.
ReplyDeleteBefore you send readers to a story, you outta make sure the link backs up your point. Morning Call story says this: "Nick Balzano, president of the local Service Employees International Union, told Allentown City Council Tuesday that the union is considering filing a grievance AGAINST THE CITY for allowing Anderson to clear a 1,000-foot walking and biking path at Kimmets Lock Park." No mention of suing the Boy Scout, but that's not as inflammatory, is it?
ReplyDeleteBlack eye for SEIU

Great audio. "We're gonna look into this cub scout." What's that supposed to mean, besides a barely veiled threat? There's nothing to look into. And these thugs wonder why they are so loathed. This guy is 10 pounds of douche in a 5 pound bag.
