Morganelli To Seek Angle's Ouster From Northampton County Council, Bangor School Board

DA John Morganelli has announced his intention to file quo warranto proceedings against Northampton County Bulldog Ron Angle, challenging his right to sit on Northampton County Council and the Bangor School Board. I'll have details later.

  2. Morganelli is trying to remove him from both? That makes no sense?

  3. HURRAY, Someone is finally standing up to the Bulldog with his threats of I'll sue, I will get my way, I will buy it with cash or I will take it to the Supreme Court, his normal MO

  4. The Northampton County Pussy Cat needs to have the Law let him know he is not above the Law.

How will this sit with you Ohare? I think your love for Angle will over ride your love for Morganelli.

  5. I've got to be honest here, with all the problems in Northampton County the D.A. is working on this?
Nobody else has a problem with this?

LEave the drug dealers alone for a while. Gangs? Don't worry about them. We Ron Angle sitting on County Council and Bangor School Board!!! Who cares?!?!?!?!

  6. It is those who care about the rule of Law that care! This Angle thinks because of his wealth from ill gotten gain he can do anything and flaunt the law.

He may have put Stoffa in Office and has Ohare covering for him but I am glad that Mr. Morganelli is not afraid of this common thug and will let him know that even with his money he must obey the Law!!

    Good for you John

  7. Morgy's a bitter loser who's extracting payback for his buddy Scissorhands. Corbett kicked Morgy's ass and made a monkey out of him over the sleazy Scissorhands connection in a year when Ds practically had to commit televised rape to not win in PA. He was just that special a loser. He's still fuming and he's pursuing a petty vendetta against Scissorhand's favorite antagonist. Morganelli is small. And that's not a reference to his height.

  8. Morganelli is political toast and he needs to drag a few of his opponents down with him. We have seent his before from the PMI operatives

  9. I think the D A has done a very good job and has a very effective office but this does seem below J M's usual level of grandstanding

  10. Angle has broken the law but the teabaggers defend him.

No wonder you toothless wonders keep electing this crook>

Who is Angle to break the Law. Thank you Mr. Morganelli!

  11. Much ado about nothing..I think. The people have spoken for better or worse. As much as I dislike Ron and his methods..he is the choice of the voters. You get what you ask for..right?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Angle has consistently broken the law throughout his long public career both in his private capacity(shop lifting and eluding the police) and in his public career (bilking township citizens for reimbursements he was not entitled to). Angle should simply obey the law and step down.

  13. What I don't understand is, isn't a quo warranto proceeding a civil action? By what authority, in the District Attorney's Office, does John Morganelli file a quo warranto against Angle? Or is JM doing this as a private attorney? I'm confused.

    ReplyDelete
  14. He's doing it as DA. He has the right. But it is a civil proceeding.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Bnaker, After posting this blg, I got a copy of the letter. Morgo is trying to kick Ron off County Council.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ok, I'm still confused. He may have the right to file, but didn't we vote JM to prosecute CRIMINAL cases? Isn't that what solicitors are paid for? This smells awful.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm actually surprised Lamont McClure didn't file the quo warranto. Then again...hmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Morganelli has spent quite a bit of taxpayer's time doing everything but the DA's job. From grandstanding on Bill O'Reilly to running and losing and running and losing and running and losing in an attempt to no longer be DA. I think it's time to send this hack packing.

  19. Morganelli's three times as corrupt as anyone in the Courthouse.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Bernie, I do not believe D.A. Morganelli has any atnding in this case.Morganelli is a smart man so I question why he is doing this.

  21. The PEOPLE voted for RON ANGLE on both offices.

Do I think it is proper that he hold both? NO I DO NOT.

But the PEOPLE voted for RON ANGLE. Instead of filing a quo warranto, how about next time running a better candidate against himon the ballot?

  22. Angle is not worth the trouble or cost that he brings with him.

But...he won the school by default, beating only 90 year old . Why dont other people run for office?

    Why aren't voters more informed?
And why don't voters TURN OUT?

  23. Vote in the Ron Angle poll http://blogs.mcall.com/valley610

    Is a better link

  25. Why have election laws at all if they impact Ron Angle? Forget the Hatch Act run, frget Civil Service run.

I mean if the voters vote you in screw the law. It is easy to see why some people actually support this crook.

Angle is a sel-promoting grandstander who has become rich trading on others misfortunes.

Some of you should really get an "unabridged" biograpy of this character.

Shop lifting is the least of his issues. Hust hide the widows and the poor elderly.

    ReplyDelete
  26. why the hell do people vote these whackos in?

    ReplyDelete
  27. It is this hatred and fear of Angle, and not the law, that is the driving force behind this policiallly motivated stunt.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Notice the disdain for the electorater, the references to them a toothless, etc. It's called democracy. But the Long Dems do not believe in democracy; they believe in power. That's why Dertinger maintained he had no obligation to even listen to someone unless he owned real estate.

Morganelli is now carrying the water for McClure. very disappointing.

  29. This self absorbed solipist thrives on attention. He is a crass, borish thief. He chooses to ignore the law when it happens to inconvenience him. His cultivated pretense of being the man of the people is a joke. He preys on the weak, infirm and elderly. He cares only about himself, first, last and always. Don't you see the play already? He will milk this for what its worth and then resign from one position at the last moment after maximizing the publicity and bemoaning the fact that the big, bad establishment has conspired against him. Fortunately like milk he has a shelf life, longer than preferred but finite nonetheless. Those who are foolish enough to be duped by him will think twice when he throws them to the curb when it suits his petulant, puerile being.

  30. I wonder if McClure made a phone call to his bestest buddy, JM.

  31. What was the DA's position when Branco sat on Hellertown's Council, and County Council at the same time?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anon 9:56, obviously you have been around awhile as well, you have Angle pegged accurately.

Of course when Union reps came to County Council to complain about an arrogant Human Resources Director, even though Council had no power to dismiss her, Ohare had to go wild over the "law" and "due process".

Good old Angle, with him it is the Hell wiht the Law if the mob wants Barabus give them Barabus.

Angle should get a pass because he is an Ohare favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It's the Scissorhands, stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I have said it before and I will say it again, Angle is a human tragedy, in that he can't use his con artist talents in a productive, humanistic way of life, the Slate Belt votes for him because they enjoy his "pot stirring", even though that pot will eventually burn, Ron on the school board will go back to his theatrical talents of using his power tools to open filing cabinets, he is viscious and intimidating because of his lawsuits, the number must be up in the 60s by now, if I remember correctly his shoplifting included a frying pan, socks and dried beans! WHOA be unto the schoolboard and heaven help Northampton County with him at the helm, he will sell it and buy it back personally.

  35. unfortunately the only way that crazy people (like Angle) go away is when they die off.

I will not feel bad about being pleased when that happens to him or many in his generation.

Out with the old and in with the new!

  36. Wisj\hing death on another person? Do you realize how pathetic you look? What a disgrace you must be!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yeah 8:31, it is not like you locked an old man in a room and took his social security checks, now that is classy. Just ask Ron.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Disgrace? At least I dont have Angle paying my way in life like you do.

    Who's the disgrace?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Can you feel the hate? It's bad enough that you lie, but you do so knowing you are a liar. You sound like you're already in hell.

    ReplyDelete
  40. But at least he is not locked in a closet being fed tastycakes. Otherwise known as The Angle Home for the elderly.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Anonymous 5:51 and 1:12, yes Angle did keep Mr. Snyder locked up, fed him Tastykakes and had to reimburse $15,000 of his checks., the county has pictures, Bernie, I will always respect the right to one's own opinion; however, Angle has scalped and intimidated so, so many people with his wheeling and dealing, unfortunately you just see what you want to see.

  42. As for the Lorena Hacker story you have not heard the end of it. No one has helped, everyone ignored. Many complaints of the Prison to follow. I said I wasn't giving up and I am not. Not one decent answer to her medical problem, not even one answer, period. I have written to all the people concerned and no response. It cannot and will not be swept under the rug. Everyone who was so concerned and going to listen to her side of the story, she never met once with anyone, including the Prison Society who looks into inmates concerns. I have a lot of ammunition for this. When all we wanted was medical treatment!! Too bad.
