John Stoffa Tells Voters Why They Should Reelect Him


"I think sometimes people judge what you do by the buildings that you build. That's not the way I want to be remembered. I'm not interested in a plaque on a wall. I'm interested in a good, open, honest kind of government."

    Why didn't Stoffa respond to the statement from McHale, that he has hired people on his staff, that made donations to his last campaign, but continues to claim, he doesn't take donations now?

    Are Will Power and Stoffa running as a team? The comments from Power gives one that indication. Is Power paying to play by falling all over Stoffa with his comments?

    I hear Stoffa is complaining that his name is not inside the door of the new County building on a plaque. He wants to remove someone else's name and replace it with (guess who) his. Way to go John, you lying SOB. You learned well from Bernie O'Hare.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
