The Express Times has an interesting weekly feature called Five Questions, an audio interview with local luminaries like shy and soft-spoken Jim (flaming monkeys) Hickey or Easton's Chanelle Price, the fastest mid-distance runner in the country.But now it's summertime, and all the important people are at the beach. So for this week's Five Questions interview, poor Sarah Cassi was forced to interview a blogger - moi. I had to promise to keep my hands on the table at all times for some reason.
Q. Do you have sources you depend on or people that feed you information?
"I make most of it up. It's pretty much fabricated. It's pretty much pure lies. It's totally worthless. Thank you very much."

Q. Why don't you write a newspaper column?
"Because they'd need to run my picture and people don't deserve that at the breakfast table."
That bastard! I'm pretty sure I can nail him with libel for that one.

Whether it's the MSM or even this blog, it's amazing how many good and productive stories are never mentioned. It's always the crap.
ReplyDeleteI have to write about what interests me, not what interests some anonymous commenter. If I spent my time trying to give people what I think they want, this blog would be much different.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I am just one voice and entitled to no more weight than any other voice. if you feel that other issues deserve attention, you should start your own blog and start writing about them. Perhaps we can learn from you.
