A Little More About That NorCo Naturalization Ceremony

New Citizen with Exec Tara Zrisnki and Judges Dally and Clark

I closed out last week by telling you about a naturalization ceremony for 29 new citizens at Jacobsburg State Park. Northampton County has since that time published pictures of that happy event.

Naturalization ceremonies have always been a big deal in NorCo, but having the oath administered at Jacobsburg is a first.  The county's photographs show that President Judge Craig Dally and Judge Jeremy Clark did the honors. Mike Sanatanasto was there for the Bar Association. There was a cool-looking color guard, and some of the new citizens worse costumes that included Lady Liberty and the American (not Philadelphia) Eagle.

    It is a good story.

    The Court performs a ceremony within guidelines established by the federal government. No Leftists show up to protest the county’s cooperation and adherence to the law. The Bar Association keeps the focus on our new citizens and is willing to provide light refreshments for those attending.

    Then it gets tainted by a local politician making it a photo op for herself. How typical.

      I believe she was invited and why not? It's a big deal for these new citizens and for the county. It has always been something that the people involved love. It's one of the most rewarding experiences a public official can have. I can't speak about other Execs but distinctly remember that John Stoffa came at least once. I'm pretty sure that John Morganelli (then a DA) also attended a few.

    Why is the County Executive there? Instead of a photo op she should be doing her job she is paid to do. She is proving to be the hot 🔥 mess everyone was warned about

    It's a wonderful story about the right way to come to our country! My question related to Tara is does she support all those who didn't come this way? Does she support ICE and immigrants following the legal process?
