How Do Congressional Candidates Feel About Strike on Iran

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Politicians running for office are reliable as a Iranian leader.
ReplyDeleteLess than 23% of polled Americans wanted this unilateral illegal action of initiating a war without Congressional approval. This will become a defining moment and a dangerous turning point for Trump and all of us.
ReplyDeleteWho are these polled Americans! I've never bern polled
DeleteTell us when the last Congressional approved war was declared. Obama had strikes in 2011, 2014, 2016 where he bombed 7 nations, and he killed Americans during the bombing. So all these democrats do your research before you just hate everything Trump does.
DeleteTypical dem whining. It really doesn't matter. These no bodies that no one ever heard about do not stand a chance of being anything more than what they are now. Wannabees. RM is a shoe in against such weakness.
ReplyDeleteTrump is not following our constitution. He is unhinged. Where is Congress' approval? Why even have Congress if Trump does whatever he wants? He states that the Iranian leader was "bad and suppressive". Well, Trump is bad and suppressive too, does that mean a country can assassinate him on their own accord? This is ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteWhere were you when Obama was droning people all over the globe? He even droned a couple of American citizens.
Delete12:59-Where were you when Obama got Osama bin Laden?
DeleteWhere were you when Trump was convicted of 38 felonies?
Where were you when Trump said that a Democrat will bomb Iran because Democrats aren't good at negotiating? Where were you when Trump said yesterday, "Well, we were negotiating and I got a feeling that Iran might bomb us so I decided to bomb them instead."
Where were you when Attorney for Pedophile Michael Jackson, Sex Offender Sean Diddy Combs, Murderers Lyle and Eric Menendez and Murderer Scott Peterson was recording a public podcast in a Washington DC bar, hours before the Iran bombings and the patrons in the bar were "celebrating" that Iran will bombed in the next 24 hours?
This Presidency and his administration is Looney Tunes.
When did Congress approved the last war. Awaiting your response. They didn't even approve The Korean or Vietnam wars.
DeleteWouldn't it absolutely amazing if 1 out of the 6 Ds actually read the constitution.
ReplyDeleteBe more amazing if Trump read the constitution
DeleteRyan Mackenzie is a willing mouthpiece for the Trump regime and seems to have no interest in the wants or needs of people in PA District 7. I've written him several times about Article 1 of the Constitution with specific questions about how only Congress can declare a war and how only Congress has the power to levy taxes and appropriate money.
ReplyDeleteIn return I get a form letter saying he'll consider my concern which is never named nor is the date I dropped it off.
Mackenzie is comfortable with having a king in the White House and kneeling before the throne.
Brooks, Crosswell, McClure, Obando-Derstine: We, the People, deserve better...than them, the clueless.
ReplyDeleteMcClure for the win! He is the ONLY one with the experience and success to fight against this corrupt administration!
ReplyDeleteHis response seems very bland. I would expect a more detailed response from someone who wants to be our next congressperson.
DeleteHis administration was corrupt. Where’s the money, Lamont. Ask Lamont the last time Congress approved a war. He wasn’t fit to run Norco. Look at the mess he left. Taxes will go up and Gracedale has the lowest rating and county had to pump $7 million into it. That makes McClure not qualified for Congress. Fiscally irresponsible.
DeleteWho is going to believe these people They will say anything to get elected.
ReplyDeleteIt is something to see the America First Maga voters who voted on no new wars tie themselves in a knot to justify the President's actions.
ReplyDeleteTypical weak Democrat Party responses- just like British PM Stirmer. They're almost jealous that they didn't have the guts to end this terror regime!
ReplyDeleteAll of Iran's neighbors are supporting us- so much for the Dems!
ReplyDeleteThe comments from the Carpetbagger, Lament, Boob Borks, and the C(rappy) O(l') D(emocrat)are all just Democrat party line canned agitprop and further proof of their vacuous dispositions and inability to process original thoughts. MacKenzie's comment is also inaccurate and mimics the Thumpin' Trumpin' narrative.
ReplyDeleteBrooks' statement is the mushiest load of frightened crap I've heard. Is he low IQ, or just a cowardly liar? I'm guessing both. If you've ever spoken with him, you realize he's a complete moron. He's dumber than Kamala Harris and doesn't speak as well.
ReplyDeleteTrump needs congressional authorization - just like Obama and Libya in 2011.
ReplyDeleteIf ever elected, they will quickly be for war, that what they all do.
ReplyDeleteIt is said, the first casualty of war is the truth. That's why I didn't say anything Friday when our president decided to invade Iran next. Apparently, the Epstein files weigh heavily on his mind, blowing up drug boats and kidnapping the president of Venezuela was not enough. The constant lies of this man and his minions should encourage the onlooker to pause from the rage bait infecting social media.
ReplyDeleteIran has been responsible for a lot of bovine manure since 1979. In 2017, some young traitor working for the CIA released all their hacking tools on the dark web which became known as vault 7 on WikiLeaks. Iran, like many of our enemies, downloaded the source code and started building their own cyber security force. When Russia invaded Ukraine, and again when Gaza invaded Israel, Iran became the front of the great cyber war raging today. Long story short, they FAFO resulting in "Epic Fury".
Despite all Iran has done to destabilize the world, war is not the answer. How many more people will die from the madmen running the United States and Israel? Why is it that our American constitution is considered the highest law in the land, yet it is infringed the most and infringers punished the least?
Why not ask what they think about the democrats continuing to shut down the Department of Homeland Security and the Coast Guard, particularly with what is going on in Iran?
ReplyDeleteShutting down those agencies was foolish to begin with. Continuing to not fund them is criminal.
I expect nothing but petty politics from democrats. They’re probably hoping for a terrorist attack just so they can blame it on Trump.
As an independent, I'm supporting Ryan Crosswell. His conservative background to me is a feature, not a bug. He is a former Marine and federal prosecutor, who resigned rather than tread lightly with the Trump administration.
ReplyDeleteMichael, as you know, you are unable to support Crosswell in the upcoming election precisely bc you are an independent and thus unable to vote in a Dem or GOP primary. If I could vote in an open primary, I'd change to independent as well.
DeleteI would also tell people reading here that Michael, though a conservative with no love for Iran, has reservations about our recent strikes. I link to him on my sidebar.
Bernie, we differ on the term support. You're correct that I will not be voting in a primary, but I think my postings about Crosswell do constitute support for him, as do my comments here on your blog.
DeleteAsk Brooks what Article II states and tell you he always read Penthouse for the articles, and he'll get back to you when he's able to separate the pages.
ReplyDeleteFetterman is the only reasonable guy out there. The rest put their finger in the air and try to decide what their position will be based on getting elected. Bunch of phonies.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100% Fetterman's the only Dem who is being honest
DeleteBob Brooks is my pick of these candidates, but glad to see others call it an unconstitutional war.
ReplyDeleteJust remember, you cannot have government health insurance because it is too expensive, but we can have another middle east war for what?
