You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
This is beautiful Posting Bernie, and most appropriate for obvious reasons. Thank you for posting this document as a reminder to all of us what our forefathers wanted for our Country and its citizens.

Great Post. Everyone should know that you don’t even need to read the entire declaration. Simply sit for a few minutes and listen to the soothing voice that recites it. Keep up the good work!

DeleteThe liberals of the day did in fact write and sign the Declaration of Independence. The redcoats were the conservatives and fought to maintain the king's domain. Liberals won the day, and many more to come.

This is what happens when you put old people (or young; on what is truly a two-wheeled motor vehicle) a way to get into traffic that they likely have no business being in.
I read it on the Fourth, like a usually do. I changed "He" to "Trump" and a lot of it still made sense. If Democrats want to keep Trump and his successor (whomever that may be) in check, they need to really change their strategy.
