President Attending Super Bowl is Good, Picking Winner is Bad, Especially When He Gets it Wrong

Donald Trump is the first sitting President to have ever attended a Super Bowl game. Though I dislike both him and his policies, I like the idea of the nation's leader attending an event that attracts the interest of most of the nation. It brings us all together. But when he picks a winner, as he did here when he picked Kansas City to beat the Eagles in a pre-game interview on Fox, he divides us.

Fortunately, he was wrong, as most of you will learn he is about many things.

  4. I appreciate the expectation of intellectual discourse. As all have our own opinions, and they will differ from others’, obviously, so why not approach the conversation with dignity and explain yourself rather than attacks, etc.? Bernie I know you said one must identify themself if making an attack, but this is not an attack. I can’t identify myself bc I am a teacher in a community which is dominated by opinions different than my own. To speak out openly can be a very bad thing for us teachers. One English teacher at my school lost her job for that reason during trump’s first time ‘round. Anonymity is important for me in this context but I don’t make personal attacks or unfounded remarks so we should be okay. 👍🏼

  5. If this superbowl had been on CBS or NBC rather than FOX, rest assured he would have picked the blue stained Eagles, as the fix would have been in.
Luckily, the birds played an outstanding game, no typical cheating this time.

  6. Boy, he sure has. He’s anointed a techno monarch to breach personal confidential computer data and financials disrupting statutes and law codes that are designed for tax purposes only, stepped all over the Emolument laws taking billions of dollars in all the while posing as the leader of our nation. He and Musk are dripping in conflicts of interest with their little hands in millions of government contracts and side show grifting, while the world stares at what we no longer are.

  18. Trump leaves Super Bowl early after backing the losing team
    Mike Bedigan
Donald Trump left the Super Bowl early after his pre-game prediction of a victory for the Kansas City Chiefs fell surprisingly short.
The president was pictured getting back onboard Air Force One more than an hour before the conclusion of the Big Game, which ended in the Philadelphia Eagles triumphing with a decisive 40-22 win.
Speculation around who Trump – who became the first sitting U.S. president to attend a Super Bowl – would be supporting had swirled prior to the game. The New York-raised Republican has never publicly expressed an allegiance to any particular team and has made appearances at numerous sporting events previously.
In a pre-game interview with Fox, the president said he would “hate” to choose a side and that he was looking forward to watching “a great game.” However, he did predict a Chiefs win after praising quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.
“I hate to do it but.. I watched this great quarterback who has a phenomenal wife. She’s a MAGA fan… she’s a great person. I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as he’s won, I’d have to go with Kansas City,” he said.
“At the same time, Philadelphia has a fantastic [team] it’s going to be a great game.”
Shortly before pictures of his early departure emerged, Trump was posting on his social media platform Truth Social – not about football, but about ordering the U.S Treasury to print new pennies.
Even prior to his ultimately incorrect prediction, Trump had looked more likely to favor the Chiefs, having congratulated the team when they reached the Super Bowl, writing: “What a GREAT Team, Coach, Quarterback, and virtually everything else, including those fantastic FANS, that voted for me (MAGA!) in record numbers.”
He did not show the same courtesy to the Eagles.
When the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018, during Trump’s first term, multiple members of the team chose not to attend the invitation to the White House which is extended to all Super Bowl champions.

Trump is NOT supporting our allies. He's threatening Canada and Mexico with huge tariffs, the Danes about Greenland, Panama about the Canal, he threatened Colombia with huge tariffs. He defunded USAID pulling all our soft (non-military) support programs from dozens of allied countries.

Want to hear something sad? I'm told when our USAID staff was closing up in one country and high-tailing it home as Sec Rubio demanded, the native employees, as a gesture of goodwill, even while knowing their nation would be worse-off due to America pulling all funding, gathered to sing the Star Spangled Banner to the Americans.

It will be ok when that becomes totally clear to say, "TRUMP LIED TO ME." He lies all the time, and he lied to Democrat voters as well. Say it with me, "TRUMP LIED TO ME."

He was going to cut grocery prices -- Are prices coming down??? Hahaha. Not at all. I just saw English muffins cost $5.49 at Giant?!

He said he didn't know what Project 2025 was -- Project 2025 is being put into action word-for-word.

Trump says he's for the forgotten people -- How about our farmers?
    https://advancedbiofuelsusa.info/farmers-on-the-hook-for-millions-after-trump-freezes-usda-funds

He said he would end all wars -- now he's talking about Greenland, Panama, Mexico and "cleaning out" Gaza to make hotels or something.

He said he would end the war in Ukraine in 24hrs -- um...

He was not going to cut Social Security and Medicaid -- Get ready, everyone. He needs to make room for his tax cut for the rich. That's all he cares about.

TRUMP LIED TO ME. TRUMP LIED TO ME. It will feel really good to be done with your abusive relationship to a con man.

All joking aside, if any of you have owned your own business (I have). This analysis of expenses is something that is done all the time. Or, rather, it should be. GOVERNMENT has been free spending YOUR DOLLARS forever, and who holds them accountable? No one. It is the fox and the henhouse all over again. Remember the big deal about the cost of govt toilet seats and hammers. Yeah, and nothing happened to control those costs. Everyone looks the other way. 8. Well, quickly is an open for interpretation LOL. Today the January inflation numbers were released. These are the last numbers of the Biden administration. Inflation came in hot as hell. Trump ain't knocking that shit out quick. It's very hard to get rid of the last stickiness of inflation without a recession. Paul Volker did it in the 80's when he raised interest rates to untenable levels to get rid of it. It caused a recession, and it's one of the reasons Reagan won, that and the Iranian hostage situation. This is Biden's inflation, he and Jay Powell, the Fed president, and Janet Yellen the Treasury Sec, assured us it was transitory. It wasn't. Game, set, match. It cost the dems the election. That and having perhaps the worst presidential candidate in history in Harris. Shit, couldn't even beat Trump, c'mon man she's awful.

So many roads got fixed up... 191, 33, new bridge over by Green Pond, etc. He helped us get our footing back after the Trumpian COVID chaos. Trump is now again causing immediate chaos -- nationally and globally -- opening Gitmo, threatening our allies, saying he's going put troops in Gaza (in fact a bunch of American veterans are over there now as contractors)...

The "biggest scandal in U.S. politics" hahaha... that's Trump letting Hitler-ass Elon Musk steal all our personal information... which is happening at this very moment, as I type.

When your mom's bank account gets emptied out and Belarussian credit cards get opened in your name, with your SSN, let's talk again. Ok?

I said it before the election ... that's all this has ever been about, the rich trying to control the government. End all regulation. They want no oversight. It's now within their grasp, and you're saying "relax." They slipped your a sedative, so you're numbed. Gotta wake up, man.
