At last night's meeting of NorCo Council, Executive Lamont McClure reported that the Department of State has approved the county's ballot format. After that, the ballots were printed and received on Wednesday. He expects there to be over 45,000 MIB applications by Friday morning.
McClure indicated that MIBs are now being mailed to voters who requested them.
They are also being mailed to those who didn't request one. Not sure why I received one. Have never voted by mail, ever. I'm sure the County will provide a timely answer to my inquiry.
ReplyDeleteMIBs are NOT being sent to those who did not request them. What you likely received, if you actually did receive anything, was an application for a MIB. Those are sent out by numerous groups trying to increase turnout. Stop spreading misinformation.
ReplyDeleteTime to remember the best voting advice I have heard — Voting isn’t marriaige - it’s public transport. You are not waiting for “the one” who is absolutely perfect. You are getting the bus. And if there isn’t one going exactly to your destination, you don’t stay at home and sulk - you take the one going closest to where you want to be.
