Neither the Lehigh County Court Administrator nor the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts can confirm the existence of an investigation because documents and evidence obtained are confidential. If the Board decides a full investigation is warranted, the judge is notified and is given an opportunity to respond to the charges.
In this case, Zanelli was notified last week of the existence of an investigation. No suspension has been sought at this juncture, so she can continue to hear cases.
I am unable to contact Zanelli because she blocked me years ago. She can request the Judicial Conduct Board to confirm the existence of a pending investigation.
If the investigation leads to a trial in the Court of Judicial Discipline, the trial itself will be a matter of public record. The judge is presumed innocent, and the Board must prove its case by clear and convincing evidence.
Whoever did her hair should be under investigation also.

Given the article in today's edition of the MC about city council seeing the mayor and finance director and the policemen's suit from a few weeks ago, in what type of court do those suits appear? News articles omit this info.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear this news. I have practiced before many magisterial district judges and have never seen anyone as bad as her. The way she treated the people in her courtroom was appalling.

She’s a narcissistic liar who was terminated by 2 children and youth agencies and had was very shady when a Lehigh County Commissioner. You go get someone elected in a position like she has without promising favors. Pop some popcorn get a chair and enjoy this movie, because it’s going to be a great show !!!

Despite being presented with factual information and public records, people still chose to ignore the truth and voted her in. It’s unfortunate that it took this long for the truth about her character to emerge, but as always, the truth has a way of coming to light.

After reading actual public court documents on numerous issues, it’s baffling that anyone could deny these facts and still supported her. It only goes to show that they had their own agenda in backing a candidate with such a clear and troubling background in her previous government positions.
Those who backed her, claiming she was the voice of honesty—how honest do you think she is now? But then again, there are many who simply don’t care about truth and justice. This happens at all levels of government: if you don’t like someone, people will go to great lengths to try to tarnish and ruin the reputation of good people, while backing the dishonest ones.
And we wonder why our country is in the shape it is—allowing people into positions for which they are truly not qualified.
