Flu & COVID Vaccines: You Can Order Up to Four Free COVID Test Kits

Residential households in the US can once again order four free COVID test kits.  You can sign up here. They ship free, starting September 30.

I got my flu and COVID vaccine on Wednesday. I did have some mild flu-like symptoms that evening, and both arms were sore, but that was it for me.

The CDC recommends an annual flu and COVID shot, but thanks to a vaccine phobia and a distrust of health institutions, fewer people are doing so. Last year, only 45% of American adults got a flu vaccine, and even fewer (23%) got a COVID shot.  This year, most Americans are staying away from flu and COVID vaccines as well. The 2023-24 flu season killed between 17,000-100,000 Americans. As of June 1, 2024, CDC estimates that COVID has killed 1.2 million in the US.

  1. Saw my doctor this week. She told me that my immune system was pretty robust due to some testing so I said no thanks for the vaccines.

Killed between 17,000 and 100,000. Pretty large range. I.e. they don't have a f-ing clue.

  3. Thank you for this most valuable information. I placed my order immediately and received a response that my order was received and a confirmation that my order is on its way. Thank you Bernie. You are a great person. I don't care what people say about you.

  6. They're not vaccines. A flu shot is a flu shot. I get one. It's not a vaccine by any stretch of medicine. This post is misleading and dangerous. A responsible person would correct it.

  7. Thanks, but no thanks. Pfizer can keep its myocarditis, blood clots, tremors and compromised immune systems.

  8. Since 2020, I’ve used 3 free test kits, 2 I bought at CVS, and had one done at a LVH lab. Despite being in the high risk group due to my advanced age and for some pre-existing health issues, and symptoms that made me think I must have Covid, all my test were negative for Covid. Perhaps it was due to my 4 Covid shots, yearly flu shots, and the pneumonia shot. But at the lab I was positive for the flu. So I’ve sworn off sticking a Q-tip up my nose and twirling it. Ridiculous I say!

  11. A flu shot is safe and well worth it covid vaccine I would love to see someone publish something about efficacy now but no one is even tracking that information. How irresponsible when they know there are documented long term effects for some. Don't we have a right to know immunity from infection statistics and timeframe as well as efficacy of these vaccines against latest mutations? Why isn't this information available. It is with flu shots?

    1. If you can use your
      Fancy Thinkin Machine
In about 10 seconds you'll find dozens of reports on the subject
However it's from those untrustworthy sources like
      JAMA
      WHO
The New England Journal of Medicine
You know those sources that spent their entire existences to fool you into taking the vacines.
They're trying trick the people that posted above from the slow table in the junior high lunch room virologists club into taking it.

  12. My otherwise healthy husband was hospitalized for 4 days with covid and has been in pulmonary rehab for 11 weeks so far and keeps an inhaler by his side. I too had covid and I was miserable but got well. We have insurance. pity those who don't. YOU DO NOT WANT TO CATCH THIS DISEASE AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPREAD IT. It can be misery and you cannot tell how bad it will be or who you will spread it to. Man up and don't be afraid of a little shot.
