Boscola Defeats Merhottein in Pa Senate 18th District Race

Despite having been a state senator for about a thousand years, voters have voted to keep Lisa Boscola in place for another four. In Northampton, she defeated Bethlehem Tp Comm'r John Merhottein with 52,823 votes to his 39,739. In Lehigh County, she collected 5,487 votes to 2,303 for Merhottein.  I personally think Lisa is past her expiration date, but the people have said otherwise.

  3. I am an independent who leans blue. I held my nose and unfortunately voted a straight blue ticket - something I rarely do. I voted for Boscola in my quest to vote an all Democrat ticket.

January 6th, election deniers, the far right rhetoric from the Republican party and Trump at the helm for 4 miserable years forced me to vote all blue...and I'm not too proud of that.

  4. Lisa benefitted from GOP having a HORRIBLE candidate for governor and very flawed candidate for senate. Republicans are their own worst enemy and absolutely need to move on from Trump/MAGA which doesn't sell in the suburbs, let alone cities.

  6. Too many crackpot republican candidates for me. I wanted more than anything to vote for someone other than Boscola, but like 7:15 a.m. said, I held my nose and voted straight blue.

  8. I wrote myself in for this office. I don't even know who Boscola's running mate is, and she votes with Republicans. This is her last term. ~Reg
