Lynch Mob Targets Independent Female Running For State Committee

Last week, there was a meeting of the Northampton County GOP. Steve Lynch was there along with numerous of the candidates running for the state GOP Committee. This includes Margie Mandell. a mother of five who has written two books aimed at younger people. She's not among those running as a slate with Lee Snover. Nor is she teamed up with Lynch. She's her own person. According to several sources who were at that meeting, she was accosted by Lynch and his supporters. What's worse, the Lynch mob has openly discussed harming her. Lynch has stated toxic masculinity is back, and his cult is expressing this in a disgusting way.

From what I've been able to discern, Mandell was originally a Steve Lynch supporter. She's handed out palm cards for him and other GOP candidates at the polls.

After he lost the election, several people have noticed a change in Lynch's behavior. He's been angry and bitter at county meetings, blaming party volunteers for his loss. Their meetings have become stressful.

Perhaps he should look in a mirror. You don't campaign for NorCo Exec by giving speeches in Harrisburg.  Or sending a mailer that arrives the day after the election. Threatening to bring 20 strong men to remove Northampton School Directors did little to help him.

Many Lynch supporters have began to distance themselves. Republican activist (and state committee candidate) Beverly Hernandez was at Lynch's campaign opening on a freezing January afternoon at the county courthouse. But his conduct has turned her off. She has referred to him on Facebook as a man "aggressively targeting anyone who stands in his march toward power." She has had to ask people not to "like" her comments about him on Facebook or Lynch will block them.

As people distance themselves, Lynch has become even more apoplectic.

His bizarre rant at me on Saturday afternoon, replete with invective and an actual invitation to fight him, demonstrates that he lacks the temperament for any position in which he must represent those whose core beliefs differ from his. More disturbing is that he called upon the Lynch mob to "blast" and "obliterate" me.

Has he asked his minions to blast and obliterate Margie Mandell as well? It sure looks that way. Let me give you the down low on the Lynch Mob.

The Lynch Mob (L to R): Mark Wagner, Wally Oswald, Benjamin Jacques
and Matthew Walter

Lynch supports Lisa Scheller in the Republican Congressional primary for Pa.-07. She's running against Kevin Dellicker. Scheller should win this race, rather easily, but Dellicker is liked by many as well.  Lynch has repeatedly derided Dellicker as a liar, without explaining why. He has childishly poked fun at Dellicker's size. He is also ostracizing anyone who supports Dellicker, even if they are conservatives.

This is what happened to Mandell. She is impressed by Dellicker.  When Lynch found out, he banned her from his Facebook page. When she asked him about it after last week's Republican meeting, my sources say he went into a tirade. "You're out of control," Mandell is reported to have said to him after he started blowin' oil. "You're turning your friends into enemies."

Lynch appeals to our dark side. The Lynch mob follows him everywhere and even imitates him. Here's an example. Lynch likes to do Facebook Lives while driving, and so they've all started doing it, too. Sooner or later, one of them is going to have a serious accident.

This mob likes to carry, too, especially at outdoor rallies along the sides of roads

One of these lemmings is Nazareth resident Benjamin "Bengy" Jacques. He was at last week's meeting with Lynch and was present went Lynch exploded at Mandell.  After the meeting and altercation with Mandell, he posted this on Facebook: "Watch your back when you create enemies out of those you once called friends."

Then the intimidation, blasting, obliterating and bullying started.

"Who we taking out?"asked Wally Oswald. "And who's [sic] car we taking?" Oswold is from Northampton and part of the Lynch mob.

Melanie Heilman, a rabid Lynch supporter from Bethlehem Tp, refers to Mandell, not by her name, but as a "b...." "That's the one problem."

Then Jamie M Lichner joins in. He may not even have been at the meeting, but was offering a final solution. "[A]re they little problems or big problems, meaning are the 5.56 problems or .308 problems or,…. Do we have .50BMG to problems, You got problems, I’ll solve it, check out the beat while my DJ revolves it."

"What do you recommend for unicorns?" asks Matthew Walter. Mandell has purple hair, and Walker was joking about it.

Walter was also at that meeting. Before it started, he was broadcasting a Facebook Live from his car, just like his hero. He spotted a Republican he identified as "JB". He called JB, probably John Brown, one of the biggest RINOs there is.

Todd Wallach (from Nazarethwrites, "Be kind to everyone, but be ready to kill anyone."  I'm sure James Mattis would be disgusted to see his quote perverted to terrorize someone.

So basically, what we have here is a collection of toxic males who like to prance around with guns, terrorizing a woman with hints of violence because of her political beliefs. She is not a "demon Democrat," but a conservative.

So much for the First Amendment.

Unlike Lynch's cult followers, Margie Mandell refuses to drink the kool-aid. So they will intimidate and bully her and show off their toxic masculinity and affinity for guns. That's what their master wants.

That's Lynch and his mob in a nutshell.

And I mean nutshell.

When I spoke to Mandell, she directed me to this message on her Facebook page:

Let's talk about unison within our Republican Party, that as of late, has become rather shredded and torn. Where should the band-aids be placed within our Grand Old Party, to fix what has become so wholeheartedly broken?
The heinous corruption of our American government does not start at the president's desk. It starts within the state, within the counties, and lastly, within the hearts of the members who choose to support and vote for the Republican Party.
It starts with you.
It starts the minute someone decides to run for a position.
It starts when someone else runs against them.
It starts when a friend turns his back because you don't agree with his political opinion.
It starts when the "us vs. them" mentality takes over.
Within our very own party... hatred seeps through steadily like a slow, low rolling fog. Evil corruption thriving in the breeding grounds of hate and pride.
My point is, if you are running for office to conquer the corruption, then take a good look within yourself first. Make sure your intent is not fueled by evil and the seeds you sow now are sewn out of patriotic love, honesty and a pure desire to be a servant to the people. Make sure you, as an individual, is not one of the pieces of the problem.
Remember who the real enemy is.

These grown men should know that terroristic threats and harassment are crimes. Although Jacques uttered no specific threat, he was telling Mandell to watch her back. He allowed the mob to be more specific on his Facebook page. This is pure bullying.  If Jacques were a real man, he'd apologize. So would the thugs who hinted at violence,

  1. These are some pretty straightforward threats. Seems like law enforcement might need to get involved here.

  3. Lynch is catastrophically stupid, but like most of these conspiracy-touting idiots who project a weaklings perception of "strength," he attracts quite a rabble of losers and possibly mentally ill folks looking for a conservative daddy to guide them. I legitimately worry about one of the ranting, roided-out psychos or meth addicts who comment on his videos and whose entire world view seems to come from fringe YouTube videos hurting someone.

That Matt fellow, the "militia" leader from western Pennsylvania that Steve is BFFs with, seems chomping at the bit to kill people.

  4. James Mattis’s quote was “be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.” - He was talking to Marines while prepping for ,what is known as an - asymmetrical battle , in Iraq in 2003. He wasn’t talking to civil taxpayers at some town hall. There’s a difference.

  7. They're ridiculous and a bit scary, of course. But if you flip the pages back 80-90 years, you can see these tactics among organized labor - whom you've always supported. The only difference is Lynch and today's paper tigers don't actually murder people or torch their homes and businesses. You lament paper tigers and romanticize murder and arson for the sake of the old party. Let's organize Bernie! Get some gasoline and roofing nails. Good grief. You're senile.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Let me get this straight. You are justifying terroristic threats against a woman who happens to support a congressional candidate bc, 80 or 90 years ago, the organized labor movement was violent against bosses and company owners. That's absurd. And how do you know these paper tigers do not take it to the next level when assholes like you are willing to look the other way. What I am saying is that the behavior of these punks is disgusting. I have named these assholes and am calling on them to apologize publicly. And incidentally, my forbears always spoke out against violent tactics. One of them, who incidentally was named Bernie O'Hare, was a schoolteacher who spoke out against the violence of the Molly Maguires. His home was burned. He was once pulled out of a schoolroom at which he taught and was beaten within an inch of his life. He continued to speak out against violence and threats, just as I am doing,.

Problem is.... they apologize with lies & empty words & then move on to their next victim.....usually someone they think is a weak female or someone they think they can control.
They accuse others of "party infighting" while THEY are the ones causing it.
Their apologies mean nothing. These people mean nothing. Ignore them.... stop giving them airtime. They are already losing people by their own actions. Drama Queens. Lynch Mob. Whatever.

She should have tendered her resignation the week after November's elections.

  17. @8:10 - Kevin was ARMY infantry as his first go in the military then he slid over to the Air Force as many do from the other services. We have great food and lodging and we treat our people well. Your slight towards his service shows that you are a moron who doesn't like people just because they like a different sports ball team, go to a different church, or don't run around with shaved heads and beards wearing cross fit shirts.

I'm doubting that you served and if you did you likely made others suffer because of your existence.

  19. I am registered republican but really don't pay attention to this county party crap. This Lynch guy is a clown, and in an environment where republican's should skate to victory this clown and Lee Snover seemed determined to screw this up.

My question is this, how does someone like Scheller get tied up with a clown like Lynch? She comes across as a genuine good person. They seem like an unlikely pair. She has a really good shot to unseat Wild, but if she keeps ties to this clown Lynch she's going blow it.

Lastly, Lynch looks like a physical fitness buff, maybe messes with the roids a little also, that would explain the outbursts. His boys though, they look like too much bad food and beer guys LOL.

What's going to happen now is she will be called out by Wild in the general election to denounce these morons. She better have the guts to do it or it will cost her the election. I can't stand Wild and if these idiots cost us that seat............

  23. I'd say Lisa is in a better position bc (1) she's run before and knows the ropes and (2) she is loaded and could drop a few million without batting an eye. In the general, Susan Wild would be up against another woman.

I believe her association with Lynch and his losers will come back to haunt her. She employed Lynch in the last congressional and I know she has ties to Tom Carroll and Pat Cubbage as well.

Lynch brought down the GOP in the last county race. They should have done better. I believe Lynch will definitely hurt Scheller, especially now that he is slamming Ukraine.

As I understand thigs, Scheller was a Lynch client.

I noticed her link to his page. He has three followers. I do not consider him a serious candidate. I also have no interest in her connection to this guy or her positions on issues. She and I would sharply disagree. But that is not the point. The point is that no one should be physically threatened over his or her political beliefs. That includes her, Flower, and even Lynch and his cult.

The Lynch mob was called out for physically threatening someone simply bc she supports s congressional candidate. They complain about censorship but are attempting to intimidate someone into silence. They should be ashamed. If any of them were real men, they'd apologize.

You don't have a requirement to do so for an opinion piece. Should I be looking over my shoulder for these "mobsters" or is this just a show? These are some pretty bold statements about these people, unless that's what you were going for. That whole party just seems self-destructive.

  56. It appears the Lynch Mob tightened up their social media today, just like they'll try to do with their a$$hole$ when the time comes to go to prison for actually *not* being so called patriots. Lynch said many many times he was going to move to alternate platforms but either didn't follow through or realized there is no audience there. Regardless, if he doesn't get his message out publicly on FB he effectively lost today. He's got no where else to go. Perhaps good riddance. Perhaps he'll turn up again. Certainly won't get any votes if he doesn't start his FB Lives again!

He agreed and said he'd call me back in a few days. He never did. Instead, he blocked me from his personal Facebook page and later, from his political page. After his first Gracedale news conference, I attempted to ask a question, but he took no questions and ignored me. I also sent a questionnaire for my blog and another for Bethlehem Press. He ignored those as well. I've been fair.

Yes, you should be concerned about these thugs. They follow him around and are all opacking. When he goes to a NorCo GOP meeting, they stand in the back, guns on their hips. They try to intimidate people. But what they are founding out the hard way is that the pen is mightier than the sword.

This was not an "I love Steve Lynch" event, though I'm informed his cult following was there. Lynch likes to accuse everyone who criticizes him of being a liar. I suggest he look in a mirror. He did block Mandell simply bc she supported another R for Congress. He did blow up at her after a county meeting. And his mob threatened her on Facebook in a post that tough guy Benjy Jacques subsequently took down. They are bullies and cowards.
