Before Putin invaded Ukraine, Joe Biden answered "I do" when asked if he thought Vladimir Putin is a killer. It appears that facts (bombing of hospitals and civilian targets) have shown Biden's assessment is accurate.

So is Biden-!00000 deaths caused by his border policies.
ReplyDeleteso we are to praise him for this? This guy couldn't organize a two car parade but he called Putin a killer so he is so strong. Why don't you write a post about the article below? Love posting left leaning sources to show dems how out of touch they are

"I do"
ReplyDeleteThat's some brilliant analysis by our president!
Maybe now some reported can throw him another softball and ask him what color the sky is.
Were Bush and Obama killers, when they presided over the death of an estimated 900,000 deaths in the middle east during their presidencies.
ReplyDeleteStop it. You're embarrassing yourself and cementing in peoples' minds why Democrats are historically disastrous re: foreign policy. Even a senile, semi-retarded, broken clock is right twice per day. Here's Uncle Touchy in 2012 re: Putin and Russia. He's always been a very special moron:
ReplyDelete"So — and the second thing is, Governor Romney’s answer I thought was incredibly revealing. He acts like he thinks the Cold War is still on. Russia is still our major adversary. I don’t know where he has been. I mean, we have disagreements with Russia, but they’re united with us on Iran. The only way we’re getting one of only two ways we’re getting material into Afghanistan to our troops is through Russia. They’re working closely with us. They have just said to Europe, if there is an oil shutdown in any way in the Gulf, they’ll consider increasing oil supplies to Europe. That’s not– this is not 1956."
Biden must be impeached in January for the sake of our country. He has done too much damage to our country including allowing 100,000 death from drugs that got in because of what he did to our border.
ReplyDeleteEven a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm old enough to remember the old Soviet Union. Like Bernie I'm a vet, who trained and gave a portion of my life to oppose that existential threat to the Republic.
ReplyDeleteFast forward to the early 21st century, and our ill-advised invasion of Iraq. A few of us questioned the evidence, and opposed that debacle from the get-go. Our manhood, patriotism, and love of country was questioned and ridiculed by the far right.
It is with sad but wry amusement that I look at this same wingnut branch of the Republican party now expressing admiration for Putin.

ReplyDeleteYou don't think the corporations saw an opportunity to gouge the public? As reported in their earnings report to investors recently, they saw a 174-billion-dollar profit margin in oil and gas. The largest beef and chicken companies, JBS and Tyson, had to pay huge fines for over charging. Go figure.... No mention of this by either Dems or Repubs or even the major news. All have their hand out for donations .... again, go figure.
@9:17 Right back to the blame game for inflation and gas prices. They are no better indicator then Traffic on route 22 is of how ecommerce is going. Why don't you move to Russia. They have had zero inflation.
ReplyDeleteBusiness play the game across the globe at the expense of the buyer in the US. Compare prices across the globe for almost any item and we the American are the ones that pay the highest and most volatile prices any where in the world. I have been in many countries some 3rd world where you can buy a Toyota pick up for 1/2 or less of what you can buy one here. Many place food prices are vastly different as well. All for the same or supposedly same thing.
Americans have just always been stupid enough to allow so many companies to strip us of cash. The price of oil and gas only changes on a hourly basis because they can. There is no real reason behind it other then lots of money people see a chance to make more and the American people get screwed.
Rumors have always abound around Putin and his henchmen. People disappear, People could end up dead but we never will really know because it is done behind a veil. Many tell stories of relatives that have been taken in Russia. Many dictatorships have the same horrific stories. Some can be proven many are just rumors.
ReplyDeleteDictatorships are many times run under fear.
@7:59 and @9;17. Be glad you do not live in Russia or you and possibly your families would be one of the assumed that might prove Putin's description true. Any deviation from a dictators prescribed spew you are screwed. And in Russia you cannot hide behind Anonymous.
ReplyDeleteWas that Brandon's original thought or did he read it off of the teleprompter ?
ReplyDeleteOver time, politicians have always needed a crisis, a bad guy, a threat to overcome. Didn’t matter of one actually existed. If not, they created one! Generally, the plan was to focus on throwing money at something only they can solve. MOST of the money could be traced to directly to the fix, but not all. Wash, rinse, repeat. Yes, history does repeat itself.
ReplyDeleteI thank God for letting me be born in America where I have the freedom to voice my opinion without the fear of being incarcerated. This is America. With all her faults she is still the best Country in the world. Yes the Republicans and Democrats both have faults and both have crazies who lack common sense but would you like to live somewhere else under a dictatorial government?
ReplyDeleteIt's funny these people keep using the term Brandon

ReplyDeleteThey absolutely were, in fact, United States doesn’t have a dog in this Russian/Ukraine invasion because their imperialism has been the culprit of death in both Iraq and Afghanistan since 2003.
Thousands of innocent men, women and children killed by the United States military, but we saw no outrage or empathy, or calls to relocate those unfortunate refugees.
But those lives don’t matter because they were brown and “savage”.
Fuck Russia, and fuck the United States because their imaginary reasons for war have devastated entire regions for years to come.
Our foreign policy is being administered from the Oberlin College faculty lounge and our military is having a spirited fight over females' nail polish colors. If you voted for the senile racist who likely isn't aware he IS currently POTUS, you caused this. The US is strategically, tactically, and psychologically unprepared to participate in any way in any resolution of the Ukraine. We're only capable of having an academic discussion. That's what they do at Oberlin.
ReplyDeleteImagine a world where I can agree that Biden is a shitstain president but ALSO believe that Trump’s presidency was the worst abomination of the position in the history of this nation. What does it say about what most of us think thought about Trump, if we were so desperate for Trump to leave office, that we voted for this “senile racist” because we needed to slow down the bleeding of our democracy.
DeleteReality check, you can hate them both, but we had to stop the bleeding that the Trump administration imposed to this country.
The extreme Grand Old Partiers are now the Guardians Of Putin. The GOP has become a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteso are the Dems on here saying Newsweek is fake news? Because I thought these people were the scions of truth. If Newsweek posted anything about Russian collusion you believed it. They post an article that makes the hair sniffer look bad it's not true.
ReplyDelete"The extreme Grand Old Partiers are now the Guardians Of Putin. The GOP has become a disgrace."
ReplyDeleteThis tribal narrative is puzzling, especially in light of Biden's declaration of defeat and clunky Afghanistan withdrawal that cost US lives, unnecessarily. Biden declared we're out of the war business. Now, the suddenly hawkish Dems think if you oppose WWIII, you're a Putin puppet. Are we warring or not warring? Make up your feeble minds. Putin is doing just peachy with Biden in charge. He invaded zero neighbors when Trump was prez and simply waited out the US electorate. We asked for this. Just like Bush (R) and Obama (D), before him, Biden is Putin's bitch - which has been a bipartisan status for two decades. Both parties are a disgrace. Only two presidents didn't start wars in recent history: Carter and Trump. Fact.
7:21 - No. Money laundering through foreign aid, funding candidates through fake charities, and bribes to our politicians, etc. are the problem. If you look into the history of Ukraine you will find that nation was home base for all of this. Our politicians fed at the trough of greed that is Ukraine.

ReplyDelete"The US is strategically, tactically, and psychologically unprepared to participate in any way in any resolution of the Ukraine"
"strategically"--allies are working together, weapons of war going in. women and children moving out of the battlefield. not to mention the sanctions.
"tactically"-- we have plenty of units within 4 hrs of operations--you do not announce all your moves.
"psychologically"--we are suppling the tools the "arsenal of democracy".
but think of the military age relatives you want to send over?
It is easy to talk until one of your loved ones get to be sent into the meat grinder of war.
"senile racist who likely isn't aware he IS currently POTUS"--well for a senile old man he is accomplishing quite a lot.
But for those that seek a bloody war do not wait--volunteer for the Ukrainian army--grab a rifle and take your chances.
Chickenhawks are just noise.
7:21 SURE another left wing asshole

ReplyDeleteYo asshole. Stop praising Trump as not starting a war and praising him as President. TRUMP wanted to dismantle NATO. Had he accomplished such a feat, where, and what nation would be next on Putin's list for invasion. Poland Hungary and yes maybe Germany. Putin was waiting for Trump before he invaded the Ukraine Knowing Trump's ambition was to destroy Nato and become the Dictator of the United States.
10:02-you are the asshole you make shit up and lie just like a typical left-wing idiot. No wonder we will have a landslide election in November.
ReplyDelete"Reality check, you can hate them both, but we had to stop the bleeding that the Trump administration imposed to this country."
ReplyDeleteThis rube's comment x100! I love this!
Sincerely,
A Very Patient Vlad Putin Who Didn't Invade Shit While Trump Was POTUS
PS: I adore morons who cut off their noses to spite their funny faces. See you in Moldova! Re-elect Biden!
Great post and great discussion. Very revealing. I LOVE how each tribe goes nUtZ over the reality check that only Carter and Trump did not start wars. It's also notable that each of these peacekeepers was turned out after just one term. There is a swamp. It is filled with profiteers from both parties who require constant conflict. They don't like peace because peace is very bad for business. They also rely greatly on their Amen Corners to repeat the unimaginative scripts they've been taught and are capable of understanding (see above). And the Military Industrial Complex laughs and laughs at all of them, most of whom are invested in companies that comprise the Military Industrial Complex and are making retirement money off this war. Have you checked your mutual funds for Raytheon or General Dynamics? I didn't think so. We're all dirty. Some of us are willing to admit it. I own Raytheon and war is a proven money maker.
ReplyDeleteAnd is Biden a killer or war criminal when 10 civilians are killed by a drone? Or is that just a whoopsie - our bad?
