You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.

ReplyDeleteGood luck Bernie, may La Madonna del Ghisallo be with you!
Damm Bernie you will be a Greek god at the end of your bikeventure!
ReplyDeleteThis is an exciting venture that I'm looking forward to following in case I want to give it a try myself. Its a shame you'll miss the ideal riding conditions starting on Saturday 8/14. Those first 15 - 20 miles ought to be rather gritty and industrial (resist the temptation to tour McKeesport) with the real scenic route starting at the Boston Bridge/Yough River. Looking forward to some photos and some first person observations/suggestions.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on your trip. Stay safe,
ReplyDeleteLooks like where the Allegheny and the Monongahela meet to form the Ohio River.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Bernie!

Best wishes for safe travel. This is something I could have never done. Hopefully there will be some pictures?
ReplyDeleteCurt's Cyclery in Nazareth has closed. The owner told WFMZ that when you're reduced to dealing with the likes of Bernie O'Hare, it's time to call it quits.
ReplyDeleteSafe and exciting trip for you!
