Van Scott and Amy Zanelli Will Square Off in November for Disputed W Bethlehem, Fountain Hill Judgeship.

Amy Zanelli has won the Democratic nod to the Magisterial District Judgeship in West Bethlehem and Fountain Hill (1059-432) But Van Scott has won the Republican nomination (514-229). So these two candidates will face each other in the general election.

  1. How the hell did she even have a chance? Did she get the "guys with a thing for pretty lesbians" vote? She has no qualifications or relevant background, just like she had no qualifications or relevant background to be a county commissioner, I'm still trying to figure that one out. Van Scott should have swept the floor with her in this one.

  3. Remember folks: Do not vote for a politician, someone who was fired from 2 children & youth positions, claims to have a plether of law enforcement investigation experience (NOT), does not have the training-experience-education-demeanor, is a transient from New Jersey, is a liar, cannot conduct herself accordingly in any court proceedings, is unethical, has made false promises...Have a nice day.

  4. We have a way to go until November. Who knows what other revelations will surface about Zanelli. She seems very proud she picked up the texts for the MDJ course. Guess what? Scott has taught that very same course material at the undergrad and grad level and lived it for 20 some years. So, let's not get ahead of ourselves, here.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
