If you are voting in person, please let us know how turnout is going. Let us know where you voted, the time, and whether you had to wait. If you've experienced any problems, either from the voting machines (Northampton), the scanners (Lehigh) or elections workers, please share your experience in the comments below.
My take is that light turnout in Allentown is good news for Ray. Light turnout in Bethlehem is good news for Willie.
Problems? Yeah, where's Buddy Christ?
ReplyDeleteDeSales poll & voting. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteVoted in at the Lower Macungie library at 7:02am but was only the third voter. Everything was in order, friendly, and efficient. I didn't see any voter fraud.
ReplyDeleteAg Hall in Allentown hosts voting for several wards and the candidates/campaign representatives outnumbered voters 3 to 1 this morning. There was a celebrity sighting as well, Darth Voter was strutting around handing out donuts to the poll workers. I had to clutch my ballot tightly for fear he would try to vote for me in an effort to get basement dweller Puffer Patrick and Me Me elected.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reports. Things look like they are running smoothly so far. Low turnout in Lehigh and Allentown. But that may be because of the MIBs.
ReplyDeleteLooking great for Tori Morgan to win the primary in South Whitehall. No lines like 2 years ago... That is great news for Morgan.
ReplyDeleteThe antidevelopment people can have car parades the day before an election but the appetite is for status quo.
Morgan wins the Republican and beat Johns in the Democratic primary

My husband went to Bethlehem City Hall to place his ballot in the dropbox. A sign on the door read that City Hall was closed on Election Day. No signs around to indicate that, in fact, the dropbox had been moved to the rotunda and voters needed to access it through a different door. I called county elections to find this out.
ReplyDelete65 votes at Hanover Elementary as of a few minutes ago
ReplyDeleteBallot # 107 right before 1:00 at Crosspoint Church in West Bethlehem. Everything went smoothly.
ReplyDeleteVoted in Catasauqua 3rd District (Lehigh County) at 1:15. There were 5 other voters during the minutes I was there. Not a problem.
ReplyDeleteOne wooden nickel says Schlossburg expenses out the donuts at taxpayer expense!
ReplyDeleteHe'll use his campaign funds.
ReplyDeleteHad a slight problem when voting for the third time. Poll worker seemed to recognize me, but the plastic toy mustache did the trick.
ReplyDeleteI signed my X and it had been sufficient with no id asked for to complete ballot?
ReplyDeleteVoted ~2:30 at Wesley Methodist in Bethlehem. No lines, but I didn't really expect any in the middle of the workday. Probably about a third to half the polling booths in use at any given time while I was there. I didn't notice the number on my ballot, since I've more often voted absentee and didn't think to look for it. Both Willie and Dana Grubb were outside when I got there, seemingly having a friendly chat.
ReplyDeleteSay good bye to Ole Lil Town of Bethlehem.
