According to the most recent census data, Northampton County's population is 306,727. As of yesterday, there have been 26,855 Covid-19 cases. That's a lot, but is only 8.7% of the population. There have been 592 deaths. We'd all agree that is 592 too many, but is only 0.19% of our population. Hopefully, as the number of vaccinations increase, we can say goodbye to Covid-19.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. Do you know how many of those deaths were in Gracedale or other nursing/assisted living homes?
