"A Date Which Will Live in Infamy"

Remember when we had Presidents who could speak eloquently and act with dignity? Remember when we had a Congress united in its resolve? Remember when a President would ask Congress that a state of war exists?

  1. That launched the military industrial complex and over seven decades of war to feed it. You can tell Ds are back in charge when the war romancing starts. Does it ever get tiring for you Bernie? Rah rah. Let's go fight. They're only stupid kids who don't vote.

I prefer peace agreements; the kind you've been silent about lately. But here you are romancing war again. Whatevs.

  3. LOL - Hilarious how Republicans are suddenly thinking themselves as the party of peace n love.

1941 President Trump - "Adolf Hitler has been, really, somebody that I've gotten to know very well and respect and hopefull, and I really believe that over a period of time, a lot of tremendous things will happen."

1941 President Trump - "Benito Mussolini, he's tough, but I get along with him. and maybe thats a bad thing, but I think its a really good thing."

1941 President Trump - "And I like General Tojo a lot. I consider him a friend, and -- but I like him a lot. I've gotten to know him very well. He's a strong gentleman, right? Anybody that -- he's a strong guy, tough guy."

  4. Dec.08,1942 - President Roosevelt arrives at capital hill for first time in Al Capone’s armored car, about 24 hours after attack in Pearl Harbor. The day before in Washington on the 7th at the Redskins vs Eagles game ,word started to spread of Japanese attack at about halftime. My mother was on the Easton P-Burg bridge when she hears radio reports . Also attacked were Clark Field and Cavite Navy Yard ..on the 8th within hours in same time frame - but because of date line spread they appear confusing. The Philippines are 18 hours ahead of Hawaii . yet the Philippines are 13 Hours ahead of Washington, And Washington,D.C. is 5 hours early of Hawaii.
