Zrinski Publishes Dishonest Ad

Eco-warrior Tara Zrinski, who is running for State Representative in a decidedly conservative district, has decided to do what she does best. Lie.

She published an ad falsely claiming that she's been endorsed by the Hanover Tp Board of Supervisors. First, it would be illegal for any governing authority to endorse anyone for public office. Second, the Board has endorsed neither Zrinski nor her opponent, Ann Flood. Third, I am relatively certain that Hanover's three Republican supervisors would rather catch the 'rona.

Zrinski's dishonesty is no surprise.

On her Facebook page, Zrinski stated "white males can get away with anything, shrouded by privileged [sic] and protected by the entourage of patriarchy, the ultimate fraternity."

She scrubbed that copmment when I drew attention to it.

I'd like her to explain how the patriarchy allowed her, a female, to get away with perjury.

When she was in the middle of a custody dispute with her ex, she and her then boyfriend (I assume he was a white male) went on a mini-vacation to New England, and brought her two boys with her. She put them in a separate room so she could have some alone time with her beau. But she lied to the court, telling the judge that the rooms were really a suite with connecting doors.

When Judge Emil Giordano discovered her lie, he sanctioned her $2,750 for her "perjury." (See NorCo Docket 2007-9468, Court Order dated 12/16/08, Paragraph 14).

She holds herself out as an activist Democrat. The truth is she had no interest in local government until she decided to run for office herself.

Between 2000 and 2008, she was listed as an Independent, and only voted in one municipal race in 2003. In 2008, she became a Democrat, but skipped voting completely in the municipal races of 2009, 2011 and 2013. When John Brown was elected Executive, she failed to vote at all. When Gracedale was on the chopping block, she cast no vote."

While Hanover Tp Supervisors Jeff Warren and Susan Lawless have every right to support endorse Zrinski, I very much doubt they were too happy to see their endorsement twisted as representing the entire board. That might explain why Zrinski's ad was later changed. But how many people were subjected to her lies?

  1. Outside of the perjury, is it true that 2 of her 3 kids went to live with their father(s)? Also, If she was charged with perjury, how come none of the local news outlets picked up this story? I have to assume someone running for state rep and charged with perjury would be news?!?!?

  2. The tsunami blue wave on November 3rd won't have Zrinski riding on it. Democrats know she is a liar and in over her head serving on county council.

  3. Lawless and Warren are ultra left, part of the tax and spend crowd. What's next? female hygiene products for all in public restrooms? Lawless cockblocked Salveson in favor of Warren. Watch what happens next. Asshats ruining a great township

  4. It is so sad that so many people particularly women fall for this fraud. She is a perpetual liar. How in the world could anyone consider her for state representative. She does not pay attention to her own job on the county board. Hearing her talk is all self promotion nonsense. It would be one thing if she talked a lot and had some knowledge but n her case it is always self serving bs. Sorry, I know McClure loves her but she is a big zero.

She will probably won on the Biden landslide but this latest fraud you show is just one more reason not to vote for her. Surprised the republicans in Harrisburg are giving her this seat.

  5. Warren and Lawless look very white. That they deign to endorse anyone or anything is the height of racist privilege. I can't believe patronizing racist demons like this still walk among us. In Hanover! Wow.

  6. Calling Tara an "eco warrior" is akin to calling members of the Tea Party "teabaggers" a juvenile slur used by those whose own environmental sins weigh so heavily on their soul that it is contorted into something monstrous and hateful.

Call Tara a guardian of Gaea that would be more welcome, she shielded her rising brood from the adult things that were taking place in a private loving setting no crime in my book.

The voters of the 138th are compassionate stewards of the green mother and pine for a woodsy goddess to heal and Shepard them into sustainable epochs of renewable progress.

  7. Tara's environmental advocacy has had a myriad of impacts on my life, ditched plastic straws for a sheikh handmade glass reusable one, ride my bicycle 3x week to get groceries that I carry in NPR totes, instead of relying on a heaping pile of biosolids produced by Big Agra I've purchased a flock of heirloom hens (no roosters=patriarchy) that I feed non GMO organic layer crumbles ethically sourced from a small PA producer.

The hens fertilize my uncut waterless lawn while consuming many biting insects, just because you go out for a trainer a few times per week on a bicycle doesnt make you an environmental ally Bernie, try not driving to where you start the ride in a catastrophically polluting combustion vehicle then talk to me boomer.

  8. I prefer the term eco worrier, like the last president who warned of rising oceans before buying oceanfront property.

  9. Does she lie more than Donald Trump?

  10. 7:48 and Woke sound like the same person. If I recall correctly, Zrinski embraced the "eco warrior" term herself at a council meeting. I believe it is accurate. I have no issue with and support meaningful measures to reduce our carbon footprint. Unfortunately, she is dishonest and supports causes that might very well do more harm than good to our environment.

Plastic straw bans are silly and meaningless. What they really end up doping is driving up the cost of goods. Far more effective would be periodic sweeps of stream banks and very tough littering laws, similar to those in Japan.

The fight against sludge is misplaced. The fact is that we all shit. Nothing is going to stop that. Throwing it in a landfill or incinerating it just creates more pollution. Using it as a fertilizer actually is an environmentally smart solution, and has been practiced for thousands of years elsewhere.

All these people, including Zrinski, drive their cars and SUVs to the meetings to condemn sludge or demand plastic straw bans or to demand that developers be required to build solar. They are hypocrites. Avoiding a car is for real and very helpful. I have no "trainer." On most days this past summer, I either rode my bicycle or took a bus to and from work or wherever I needed to be. I use a knapsack for groceries. I try very hard to avoid driving. I believe in walking, biking or busing to where I need to be. I even took a bus to get to my favorite running trail this summer! We could all do a little more of this during daylight savings time. It does not just save the planet. It saves our own health.

I do not hold myself out as an ecowarrior or an ardent environmentalist. I do believe that when you start preaching about environmentalism, you should try to practice it.

In addition to being a phony, Zrinski is outright dishonest. She made numerous false statements about the PennEast Pipeline in BT, engaging in some very real fear-mongering. She had to be corrected.

Zrinski does have support of people who are just as hypocritical as she. I know many of them.

When it comes to the environment, I am a hypocrite, too. But I do not beat my breast and try in my own small way to do what I can. And I believe strongly that we should focus on meaningful responses that actually address the problem. Not symbolism.

  11. " Also, If she was charged with perjury, how come none of the local news outlets picked up this story?"

She was never criminally charged. She was sanctioned by Judge Giordanao in a civil matter. He sanctioned her for what he called "perjury."

  12. Bernie - Thanks for clarifying the perjury. Still have to question her ethics when she lies about the safety of her own children.

  13. Hanover beware. Lawless and Warren are ULTRA liberal. Liberal is ok but they will ruin a great Township.

  14. Tara Zrinski is cut from the same cloth as Greta Thunberg and AOC strong women who stand up to boomer smog belchers hell bent on lining their pockets with the profits procured from plundering Gaeas bountiful offerings.

  15. I fondly recall hours spent shopping at Two Gaeas. As mischievous boys, we often asked the unsuspecting, joshingly, if they'd, "ever been up Two Gaeas?" Fun stuff. Warren is my bellwether for local politics. His endorsement is key. I'm now committing to vote for Ann Flood.

  17. Bernie, I'm not opposed to candidates using their kids pictures in mailings, but did you see the video where her kid says what he wants for his birthday?!?! You can tell the kid is reading from something. He looks like one the the POW's from vietnam forced to read a statement. She is pimping her kid, asking for money, for his birthday. WOW.

  19. Tara will lead the revolution. She is the voice of county council. She speaks for the women of Northampton County. We all await the results of the Nov. election to see how great her victory will be.

You are a mere misogynic patriarch O'Hare . Yu will be sent to the white male camp with the rest of your disgusting breed.

  20. I got texts from someone working for her. Told her I wasn't interested in Socialism today. The person responded that many republicans will be casting their vote for her LOL. Personally, I think the woman has some kind of mental health problem/personality disorder, just an observation as I have spent my professional career working with mental health folks. She has a penchant for lying and craves attention, not quite in Mezza's league but a similar MO.

  21. 2:38,
Thanks for the link. That was laughable and sad at the same time. Using your kid to beg for money. The kid's wish is $11 from everyone as a donation to his mother's campaign? Zrinski was too cheap to spring for a small birthday cake. Kid has a cupcake with one candle in front of him. Zrinski has no shame. Maybe in the next two weeks she can send him out with a tin cup and have him hang out near an ATM.

  22. @12:59 So an elected official (Jeff Warren) who has two DUI's, endorses another elected official (Tara Zrinski) who perjured herself. Wow, can't make this up. Zrinski lives in Hanover, what the hell is going on over in Hanover?!?!?!

  23. Speaking of petty, it seems a bit petty to bring up the difference between a separate room and one with an adjoining door. It reminds one of CrAZy bringing up stuff about you from God knows when.

What looks to be an endorsement by the Hanover Twp BOS is absolutely bizarre. Whoever came up with that idea - it was a horrible idea.

  24. Democrat? Thats all I need to know.

Republicans need to be purged until they get the Trumpism cleared from the party.

  25. So this is true? What crap. This woman is a self-centered disaster. She should not be elected. Hard to believe there are so many naïve and ignorant women who back her. Pure opportunist. Her resume is a fantasy.

  26. Character matters and Tara seems like an opportunistic shill. She has a lot of skeletons in her closet which I think will be exposed in the coming days. She’s been getting dirty toward Ann Flood and I fear it may be a big mistake. The perjury is the least of her issues. On a side note has anyone ever been physical with their small children? I know I haven’t -
