Updated: Trump to Bring Superspreader to LV

(Originally published 10/25 1:01 PM) Well, NorCo GOP boss Lee Snover's wish has finally been granted by Donald Trump's Presidential campaign. His next superspreader will be in Northampton County on Monday at 11 am. If you want tickets, and you're nutz, if you do, you must first release his campaign from any liability in the event you contract the disease he says is in the rear view mirror.

Here's what his application for tickets warns:

"By registering for this event, you understand and expressly acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; the Republican National Committee; the host venue; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury."

Coronavirus deaths in the US, as of today, are now at 225,000

7:50 PM Update: Hanover Tp and Colonial Regional Police ask you to "[p]lease avoid the area as there will be a heavy police presence with periodic road closures along the Schoenersville and Airport Road corridors." There will be delaysd between 8 am and 2 pm. Executive Lamont McClure asks yo to wear a mask. "Our numbers are on the rise, and we don't need a superspreader event right now."

8:10 PM Update: Register to attend here and save two Republican lives. I got two tickets.

11:15 AM Update: Am covering this event from the safety of C-SPAN. The crowd is not observing CDC guidelines concerning social distance and, for the most part, is unmasked as Macho Man is playing in the background. President has arrived. and I now notice masks near him.

11:25 AM: "Thank you very much, Allentown." Still referring to Biden as "Sleepy Joe," Trump immediately attacks Biden's energy plan as a "death sentence" for Pa, arguing that Biden wants to shut down the country.

11:28 AM: Trump claims that Gov. Tom Wolf tried to "shut us out," and complains the press won't cover "Biden scandal," as crowd shouts, "Lock him up!" "[Y]our governor made it almost impossible for us to find any site” ... “And I’ll remember it, Tom. I’m going to remember it, Tom. ‘Hello, Mr. President, this is Gov. Wolf, I need help, I need help.’ You know what? These people are bad.”

11:34 AM: Trump begins reciting poll results showing he is actually ahead in the polls.  He claims Rasmussen puts him ahead nationally, but you won't hear this from the news outlets because they are "fake" and "corrupt."

11:35 AM: "We're watching you Governor, very closely."

11:42 AM: He begins playing clips of Biden praising a "rising China" as well as tapes of Biden saying, "no more fracking" and Harris saying "no more fracking on public land."

11:49 AM: He will protect the Second Amendment and guard our borders as crowd chants, "Build that wall!" He claims he built 400 miles. "Walls and wheels will never be obsolete. Promises to bring record job prosperity and "safe" vaccines. "Normal life, that's what we want."

11:54 AM: He mocks Harris laugh, asking "Is there something wrong with her?". Repeatedly refers to Biden as "Sleepy Joe."

11:56 AM: "We win Pennsylvania, we win the whole thing!"

11:57 AM: "A choice between a Trump boom and a Biden lockdown."

11:59 AM: Complains a judge has refused to allow poll watchers, which is false.

12:03 PM: "The only thing you can do in Pa. is protest. You can't go to church. ... But if you want to protest and burn the hell out of your city ... ."

12:06 PM: Claims there will be 100 million vaccines by year end, with priority to seniors.

12:11 PM: "I am saving the suburbs." He says suburban woman don't want "projects" next to them.

12:15 PM: "Joe Biden, as you know is a corrupt politician." Notes son Hunter was getting $183k per month, got $3.5 million from the wife of Moscow's Mayor, $1.5 million from China and was shooting for another $10 million. - (The only one of these allegations that is proven is that Hunter Biden was getting paid $183k per month to work at an energy company despite having no qualifications.)

12:21 PM: Gives a shout out to congressional candidate Lisa Scheller and the "incredible Truckers for Trump."

12:31 PM: Reading off teleprompter, with occasional asides, as he attempts to wrap things up. Crowd chanting, "God bless Trump!"

12:35 PM: Predicts a "great red wave," noting the size of his rallies. "There's never been that before." Refers to Obama as "Barack Hussein Obama." Calls press "the enemy of the people."

  1. That is too funny! I bet it is in the small print "That nobody reads!"

  2. Really? So if you don't sign a waiver and then contract Covid-19, you can sue the place or venue where you got it, and the people you got it from?

I don't think so, but maybe...you might lose 2 weeks pay if you get it.

The waiver seems kind of redundant, useful only as a precaution against frivolous politically funded lawsuits.

I'm sure the waiver you sign to go Snow Tubing is more significate with even smaller print.

  3. I would definitely require waivers from everyone. Many different tests are being used, some not very reliable. Lots of false positives. Now we even hear some tests will read positive for someone having the Flu. It all depends on how many amplifications are run during testing the sample. The greater the amount of amplifications, the likelier small, insignificant, lightly-related signals can produce a positive result, yet present no illness in the subject. Don’t believe it? Ask a medical doctor or lab worker.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Why require waivers if Covid is winding its way down? If the tests are so bad, then what difference does it make what they show>? The FACT is that Covid is by no means winding its way down. The FACT is that covid test accuracy is near 100% if you take a confirmatory test. But if inaccurate, why worry about liability? Just mock everyone wearing a mask.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Bernie, you know better (I think). The number of cases is going-up because so many more people are being tested. You don’t even need symptoms to get a test. The same people are being tested multiple times. The numbers are very easy to inflate and no one can prove otherwise.

Why hold a public event and have 100 people confront you with positive test result and want compensation? They can’t even prove they got it at your event or the previous night somewhere else. The waivers help to keep the pretenders at bay.

I just got a test last week. I called my doctor because I had a lingering sinus congestion. The test result was negative. Over the counter spray was all that was needed.

  6. New CDC guide line modeled from a prison case. Contact with an infected person for 15 consecutive minutes. This tis time weighted per day. Water cooler stuff. Pay attention. The CDC says six feet , I’d personally recommend 10 because of air conditioning and air moving in buildings. I’m not an expert at anything but in 2001 at Andrews Air Force Base ,June 22-23 a drill was done for Bioterrorism - Dark Winter - Get it?

  7. Lets hope plenty of NORCO Republicans attend. No need to wear masks as Trump says the virus will go away. Don't forget to include the LV Tea Party. After Trump was elected they celebrated in front of Bethlehem City Hall. And of course the leaders of the LV Chamber of Commerce will be there to kiss Trumps feet. I never realized how many jerkoffs and mutants there were in this area until I saw so many Trump supporters come out of the sewer.

  10. I just got two tickets. With enough people registering and not going, will crybaby Trump do us all a favor and go away?

  11. How pathetic to get tickets you won't use. The hatred coming from the Democratic party is a Statement in itself. God help our country. The people are showing their worst side. I'm proud to be an American and embarrassed and saddened by the lack of respect I am seeing for those with different views. We will become what I fear and it can't be blamed on any president. The people of this country are and will cause our downfall

    ReplyDelete
  12. 11:09, This is not hatred, but love. I do not wish to see you get infected at a superspreader where all the CDC guidelines are ignored. I have seen enough evidence that is exactly what happens. Moreover, I'd hate to see you get infected and give it to others. I'm embarrassed by the slavelike devotion you mankurts show to a dangerous man. My hope is that you come to your senses, as many other Republicans have.

  13. For those folks that want to march into a polling site and vote --it will be a little hard to do that while in an ICU bed.
Seems wearing a mask would help insure their vote can be cast.
Why take the chance of missing out on voting?

    ReplyDelete
  14. 12:51--NONE.

They'll crawl through broken glass to vote for Donald Trump...

Rassmussin Polling shows a 46% black voter approval rating for President Trump!

He got 8% of the black vote in 2016, my guess is >20% in 2020, that means it's "Game Over" for the Democratic Party.

  15. The number of cases identified is not the best way to measure the severity of this crisis. Pay closer to the number of hospitalizations and the rate of death due specifically to having the virus. Both numbers are way down.

Next, consider the high number of cases in which the subject had no unusual symptoms. Whose bodies were able to defeat the affliction in a couple of days with simple rest at home.

Finally, there are other types of Coronovirus that can affect humans and will result in a false positive test result for Covid-19. Despite what Dr. O’Hare writes, false positives for Covid-19 are common. Most recent, highly publicized, example was Alabama Football Coach Nick Saban. There have been thousands of others.

Oh, I do wear a mask while shopping. For the comfort of others near me.

  16. I have a few extra Trump - Pence stickers. Can anyone tell me where CNN will be parking the traveling correspondents' company car?

  17. Maybe something you missed last night. But Trump picked up another 500,00 votes. You see he did what other world leaders couldn’t do. He brought a peace plan to the Armenian- Azerbaijan conflict. The Armenian people are a proud people who have a strong sense of commitment and loyalty to their country and their neighbors throughout history have tried to wipe out the whole country.

Even if they hated Trump in the past, Trump is definitely their hero now. Bush or Obama would have used this to start another of their silly wars that last a decade or so. It would cost America soldiers live and we would sink billions into fighting this conflict. President Trump works towards peace. Maybe he will be nominated for his third Nobel Peace Award.
    Thank you Mr. President.

Incorrect. Do not make false assertions. Covid-19 hospitalizations are on the rise in 39 states, and are at or near their peak in 16. Just bc the plague rat is a nonstop liar is no excuse for you to be dishonest as well. Argue facts, not what you wish.

  20. Trump only cares about himself and winning! He runs on the economy, and that’s all!
So he’s had the virus, ended up in hospital and on oxygen, but survived! So he’s not at risk, probably, at this time!
Does anyone think he cares a rats ass about people at this rally, who mostly won’t wear masks and socially distance as not to catch or give the virus to others!
The Lehigh Valley wcould be a new hot spot, as some of these people will stop at stores, restaurants! They, of course, don’t give a rats ass, about their fellow citizens! Pence, got exposed, tests negative, but continues to allow people at rallies to spread it! And he supposedly is the Head of The Corona Virus Team at Federal level! No role model there!
Please people come to your senses, VOTE THEM OUT!
Bring sanity back to the White House!

  21. Wow, watching the rally on YouTube, the crowd is yuge inside the pop-up venue and even more are waiting to get in. Joe had a rally this weekend in Bucks County with limited supporters and a good number of Trump Supporters weighing in. Joe became very agitated and called anyone who doesn't vote for him chumps.

There seems to be a sizable enthusiasm gap. Orange Man Bad. Super spreader.

Joe has called a lid on all campaign events from now until the election. Come on man....

  22. Congratulations to new SCOTUS justice Amy Coney Barrett. Everything else that happens today pales in comparison to this outstanding news. Promise made. Promise kept.

    ReplyDelete
  23. 40% may be super enthusiastic, but it won't butter the biscuit. Trump's campaign is terminal. Not enough time or voters willing to change their mind.

Enjoy the SCOTUS victory lap, 8 more days til the Republican party is rendered obsolete and the GLORIOUS RADICAL SOCIALIST Agenda commences!!!

New states, new court justices, guns ripped from owners hands, abortions encouraged in place of birth control and the entire Trump Family locked up in Supermax penitentiary.

I for one am selling my home and moving to South Dakota.

Also, the best polling never accurately picks up new registrations - of which Rs and Is have a mountain compared to Ds. This is going to be very close in PA.

  26. Watched the whole thing on One America News channel. Trump did just fine, brought out some accurate news happenings that are being ignored completely by major news media, and our local censors at the Morning Call and WFMZ TV69.

Still waiting for someone to explain the gigantic difference in enthusiasm for another term for President and the meager turnouts for Biden events. I’ve never seen such a huge contrast. Even yesterday in Philadelphia, Biden’s handler, Barak Hussein Obama, only drew a dozen people to hear his brand of “wisdom.”

    ReplyDelete
  27. @1:01 - LOL, yes a well coordinated "Lets all spoof the polls" dream. Trump is going to be clowned hard. He loses PA by 5 points minimum. But by all means keep deluding yourself that there's a chance that the polls got it all wrong... Trump Detachment Syndrome is going to be very difficult for you, I wish you the best in the coming years.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The word "chump" was used in reference to hecklers attempting to disrupt a Biden rally, and he said he'd represent them, too. You clearly failed to research, or are outright lying. I woin't call you a chump. I'll call you a liar.

    ReplyDelete
  29. " Trump did just fine, brought out some accurate news happenings that are being ignored completely by major news media, and our local censors at the Morning Call and WFMZ TV69."

The Morning Call has been rudderless for some time, and WFMZ is owned by a deeply religious conservative. So I find your accusation just a tad conspiratorial. Yes, the press has been unfair to Trump, but you don't pick fights with people who buy ink by the barrel, so he basically did it to himself.

    1) Here's the difference. Biden practices social distancing. Trump does not care who he kills.

    2) Like Trump, you insist on using Obama's middle name in the hope that your fellow Muslim haters will catch on. You are an ugly person, just like your master.

  31. I am glad you broke down and went to trump rally, Bernie, are the people great, such a happy, friendly and optimistic crowd. I just got home from the rally, it was so upbeat. It really is a contrast to the failed and unhappy coalition for Biden.

Can't wait for a Republican candidate, speaker to be there and with City Hall Republican employees on the clock there.
Now these "scum" Republicans are using their time vs. the welfare ones who can stand in a welfare line, riot and not work but can't go out to vote in person. Hmm?

  54. I disagree that it's been "proven" that Hunter Biden received $183 million a month from the Ukraine energy company. My search found only a "report" from The National Review, a recognized "far right" publication, claiming that Hunter Biden's firm got $83 million a month (this National Review claim has been cited by outlets like Fox News). I have seen lots of stories from credible news sources that state he got $50,000 a month.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Hunter's salary at Burisma was $50,000 per month, not $183,000 per month. Clearly, he was trading on his father's name. This is corrupt, but not legally corrupt and is exactly the kind of thing Trump and his own family do.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I generally read many of the comments on Bernie's postings. I don't really recall anyone calling or issuing any blanket statement that all Trump supporters are "scum" at least recently. That said, if you've used the word "Libtard" at some point, you're equally guilty.

The name calling has certainly escalated over the past 20 years. I do think we all likely have a relatively broad group of friends and family along the political spectrum. Too many people get way too absorbed in their own political bubbles and end up listening and identifying with extremists who promote this hatred.

I'm all for free speech, but to be honest, I wouldn't object to more strict rules and regulations on radio, cable and social media. The messaging from both the Right and the Left is becoming so caustic and corrosive that its just numbing society. We need to pull back a bit.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Its heartwarming to read all of the positive comments above and how much they enjoyed their day. I am happy that many of the Trump supporters in the Lehigh Valley got a final chance to see him as their President. I am sure they will remember and treasure their pics and videos of their time together yesterday. It'll be something to look back on in the weeks, months and years to come.

“So Tom Wolf, next time give us a little notice, Governor. And I’ll remember it, Tom. I’m going to remember it, Tom. ‘Hello, Mr. President, this is Governor Wolf, I need help. I need help.’ You know what? These people are bad. We go out of our way regardless Republican, Democrat, when they have a problem. 60. Not really, that part of the city was actually shut down as a result of the violence that followed yet another police shooting. Of course, the violence is wrong. I am concerned about both the mentally disturbed man who refused to drop a knife as well as the 30 officers who were injured. I am drawing no conclusion concerning the shooting until more facts are known. There is no justification for the violence that followed. Your reference to this incident, and the way you did so, betrays a lack of empathy you apparently share with Trump.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Regarding the shooting, since you brought it up Bernie, both officers were NOT equipped with tasers. Budget cuts have delayed the roll out of their taser program, and only about a third of officers are currently equipped with the pain compliance tool in Philadelphia at this time. I feel badly for both the person shot, his family, and the officers who have to live with it because the city failed to provide them with the tools that most other modern police departments have at their disposal.

This should be a wakeup call for all those defund the police people. The first thing cut in the budget is training and equipment. The budget cuts may have cost this kid his life.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I did not bring it up. An anonymous reader brought it up, and I responded. I lack sufficient knowledge about what happened to draw any conclusions, and suggest that people need to wait for that process to play out before jumping to any conclusions. I believe the violence that ensued is inexcusable. It is sad all the way around.
