  1. You’re a classy guy ... and obviously homophobic.

  2. Trump would never fall for her. She/it is an American and speaks English fluently.

  3. Ain't nothin homophobic being on the beach with a dreamy blonde on Memorial Day!

  4. Why would that be homophobic or transphobic? It is a heterosexual man with someone who now considers herself a woman. Isn't this showing tolerance and acceptance

So you hate people with an accent? You must be a "liberal" !!

  8. Rachel is a well educated and accomplished woman. Why she decided to spend the holiday with the randy and rowdy wolfman is beyond belief.
Just kidding. Wolf has that permanent look on his face of a man who, having just been read his Miranda rights, is fearful of uttering another word.

I am a liberal and I was just trying to point out that Trump likes to marry women who arrived in this country on a boat and speak terrible English. Being that you are a Trump supporter I can see why my original comment went over your head.

    1. Trump's wife does have an accent but is fluent in five languages. We are a nation of immigrants with a majority coming to these shores learning English as a second language. Yes many did arrive by ship with their life's possessions in burlap bags
All proud to learn the language, take the oath and become Americans. Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

    Why yes.

  13. Bernie I used to like you until you had to get that dig in on Chris Christie. That's hilarious!!!

  14. "you have no sense of humor"

Neither do you. You make fun of people. You make fun of a person who sexually identifies as a woman. You have continued to do that. You cloth it in your "great sense pf humor". Problem is your only humor comes at others expense. You can't take it when it is dished out to you. You are a fragile and self-conscious person who can only give it out but cant's take it. Now moderate that away Mr. Humor not, more like Mr. Angry.

  17. Like the Bad Orange Guy or not, Melania's English is as good as the Queen's. She is Slovenian and actually speaks six languages. And a quick Google search will lead you to her very outstanding nude photos. Beats hell out of the forty-some first ladies before her. Michelle Obama was a Sasquatch. Barbara Bush was the Quaker Oats guy. Melania is smokin - in six languages.

  19. Fantastic picture! This should be the TIMES cover page for person of the year. It would show the real heroes of the pandemic.

  20. Bernie

Not certain how but along the commercial marketing American way, Memorial Day's purpose was forgotten.

Now it's mattress sales and more. Stores aren't even embarrassed to include such words
as "celebrate" as they describe their Memorial Day sales.

If only our federal officials would launch legislation to call for Memorial Day symbolism reform.

  21. I tend to like all the first ladies. From my time, I'd say Jackie Kennedy was the most attractive, with Melania a close second. I would not argue if you inverted this. They have all been beautiful in their own way, with the possible exception of Nancy Reagan. My personal favorites are Laura Bush and Rosalind Carter, both of whom seem like such nice people. I do not like to see them trashed unless it is for something they themselves do.

  22. Regarding Laura Bush. Some say that even when Mrs. Bush was insulted by Mrs. C, she never uttered a nasty word in return.

  25. I'm not about to make fun of Dr. Levine's personal life choices. Yes, her transformation is getting far more notice than it should. She's one of thousands who made similar decisions. I have no desire to do such a thing, but why criticize someone who needed to take the step?

Look, doing something so dramatic takes great courage. It submits oneself to abuse from those who never even met the subject. Through it all, she deserves a life of peace within.

  26. Humor? more likely an example of "target fixation".
Wolf is the evil bad guy and Bernie needs to attack him for something.
The General assembly could have overturned Wolf's actions quite some time ago but they are not the target.
Unemployment system is messed up and of course it is Wolf's fault(and Wolf deserves blame there) but mention the Legislature closed unemployment offices another pass is given as they are not the target.

  32. It will be interesting to see how Pennsylvania politicians up for election through November will do with this travesty hanging over their heads. I know from conversations and what others have claimed, people are really pissed-off with Pennsylvania leaders. Wolf ya nothing to worry about, but all others?

    1) I consider this "reform" Governor a phony who got in over his head. He certainly is an elitist and lacks both transparency and accountability. He has zero charisma, no leadership qualities and selected one of the worst cabinets he could assemble. He will go down as one of the state's worst Governmors, and we've had a few bad ones.

    2) The General Assembly needs 2/3 to overturn Wolf. That means some Democrats would have to join and they refuse. It would be more accurate to say that Wolf's fellow Dems in the General Assembly refuse to overturn him, but you already knew that and are pushing a dishonest argument. Thus is why you end up deleted.

    3) The legislature closed no unemployment offices and has no authority to do so. This is all Wolf. What's worse, he made the decision to shut down without discussing with business or legislative leaders, and without making any preparation in advance for the crisis he caused.

  35. This is small of you and one of many reasons, like your man crushes, that most people dont take you seriously as a journalist. I used to think you wanted some credentials but especially during this pandemic you've shown your vindictive tendencies override any pursuit of objectivity.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I am not here to be "objective." Anyone who claims objectivity is necessarily a liar. I am here to tell the truth, and I have exposed the failures of both Trump and, more particularly, Wolf. And for someone who does not take me seriously, here you are at 8 am, on a holiday, commenting away.

Not Clem. The fraud of a sissypants snowflake, one perpetually curled up in the fetal position, waiting and shrieking for SOMEBODY to do SOMETHING! A weak and feckless loser whose life is but a joke.

While you were posting your bullshit in your jammies, Covid coward, we had two days of fun in the great weather. Family, fellowship, BBQ and all the things you can never have in mommy's basement.

I thank the good Lord, every day, that I was born to greater than your pitiful existence.

Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics.
