Rachel Levine Raises the Dead!

It's a miracle! Steve Thode, our Covid-19 numbers cruncher, suspects Pennsylvania must have several Lazaruses. This is because, on Monday, Pennsylvania Health Secretary Rachel Levine is reporting negative death numbers.
Just a sampling of the brilliant death data by the DoH today:

Lackawanna: -24 new deaths (149 total deaths yesterday, 125 total deaths today):

Luzerne: -5 new deaths (127 total deaths yesterday, 122 total deaths today);

Northampton: -28 new deaths (199 total deaths yesterday, 171 total deaths today);

Pike: -7 new deaths (22 total deaths yesterday, 15 total deaths today).

If this keeps up, NorCo could be down to 0 total deaths by Memorial Day!

Does the Wolf "disadministration" employ anyone who took a math class after first grade?

  1. This is precisely the reason Wolf and his team need to be shut down immediately. They are flailing around clueless, using made-up numbers, and avoiding difficult questions.

There are a few Representatives and Senators from Western Pennsylvania and South Central Pennsylvania who are being very active in trying to combat our incompetent State Administration. I just don’t see the same sense of urgency out of our Lehigh Valley State Politicians.

  2. Wolf and his people are very bad fo Pa must impeach or recall this guy

  3. That dynamic duo in Harrisburg is doing a great job, especially protecting our at-risk contingent in senior housing facilities of various types. We have more total COVID deaths in PA than Texas and Florida combined even though those states together have 4 times the population.

  4. Levine had better be raising the dead.

Another Morning Call article this morning about how Wolf lied about his revised nursing home precautions and is again failing to protect our most vulnerable population.

Meanwhile even NJ has figured out how to re-open their beaches! So now we're even behind New Jersey! Pathetic.

Get rid of all the Democrat legislators this Fall! They're all supporting Wolf and his failed policies that are literally killing PA residents and the PA economy.

  5. You people are never satisfied. This is an attempt to correct an overcoat. Would you prefer the overcount?

No, what I'd prefer is statistics that are correct from the beginning, since they are being used to justify actions that are destroying people's livelihoods and literally killing people in some cases. Even worse, I have no doubt that these statistics will be revised in the future to add deaths back in and magnify daily death counts.

I'd prefer a correct count to begin with.

Aren't these the numbers Wolf is using to make his decisions on? Shouldn't they be right and not constantly changing?

    All the numbers are skewed.

Deaths that occur with Covid present but aren't necessarily caused by Covid are being classified as Covid deaths.

This is primarily because reimbursements to hospitals are based on being caused by Covid.

I don't blame the hospitals for this. Unfortunately, they're hurting right now because Wolf's fear tactics and edicts are keeping many potential patients from going to the hospital and getting care for other health problems.

So Wolf is killing nursing home patients, the PA economy and PA hospitals. That's the trifecta of stupidity from Wolf and his legislative accomplices.

  9. I doubt people are really coming back to life. Most likely it is just a change in the data.

  10. The "second wave" is starting to materialize not on COVID, but on PA Unemployment. After week 3 the numbers have been declining every week. This week however, the first 2 days are 24% higher than the first 2 of last week. I hope it reverses course, but I think it reflects PPP moving past the "forgiveable" 8 week window of the loan.

  12. Some local parent groups are trying to find the best way to communicate with both local/Harrisburg "pro-open PA" representatives regarding activities for High School seniors. Any suggestions on contacts who may commiserate with us, and who have some clout with Wolf et al?

    Thank you..............

  14. Attention Lehigh Valley politicians! No matter what office you hold, small or large, your reputation, and future in office, is being damaged by the incompetent people prolonging the destruction of families and small business owners.

  16. I wear a - mask.

It's not a pandemic, or even a plandemic, it's the election tampering Tulsi Gabbard warned of, being played out.

This is what Hillary meant when she proclaimed, "a proposal for a single-payer health care system would thrust the nation into “a terrible, terrible national debate” and would “never, ever come to pass.”

Universal healthcare proposed by Bernie Sanders is what this hoax was meant to kill and if it takes out Trump they'll take that too, but that is not essential.

I really think the Democrats and many Republicans agree it's time for some form of universal coverage, but neither want Trump's legacy cemented with such profoundly beneficial legislation.

Change your voter registration from Democrat, and encourage others in your group (and outside your group) to do the same.

That's the only statistic that will matter to Wolf and his democrat collaborators in the Legislature on the issue of opening.

  18. Despite ranking 10th among all states in per pupil spending educational spending, Pennsylvania is just 27th in average SAT math and overall scores. It's not funny when the deficiencies of a Pennsylvania public school education are painted in the stark relief of our state leadership at a time of crisis. We should welcome carpetbaggers who come from smarter places than PA. We're in an incestuous, retarded gene pool and need help from the outside.

  21. Bernie, I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I saw several weird shadows last night around 1730 as I drove past Holy Saviour Cemetery while driving out of Bethlehem on Linden. I was sober as a state senator. That part of Bethlehem is in NorCo, and that's just one cemetery. Given this, 28 resurrections in the county is not an unreasonable number. Thank you to all essential life-restorers. Not all heroes wear robes and sandals and walk on water. Your contributions are appreciated. If I could produce a TV commercial with soft music and a sensitive voice-over, I'd thank you that way.

Don't confuse what you saw with being related to the corona-virus.

We're two weeks from Election Day.

It could just be that the democrats may have already begun their Get-Out-The-Vote efforts.

You claimed yesterday there was a news story about this featuring Marcia Hahn. I asked for a link. I looked for the story and found nothing. If you have a link, provide it.

But the kid do not get the virus --what can't they understand These people are making a big mistake and no matter what happens they will declare victory--that's what being a politician is all about.

"“If we thought that kids weren’t getting infected, then closing schools might be creating undue hardship for people with no real upside,” says Lessler. “But the data suggests that closing schools might be an important thing to do to prevent onward transmission.”

  26. Levine moved his mother out of the nursing home. Of course he’s no good at math he has a serious mental disorder that just don’t add up no matter how you look at it. He needs to be replaced with someone who is mentally stable.

  27. 4:47 - And it is the youngest generation that will suffer most, over a greater number of years than the rest of us. Whatever the true goal of those in politics who support this nonsense, it just ain’t working. I have never seen such disgust in politicians by average, everyday citizens as I do now.

The ‘new’ America being created by radical, Constitution-ignoring hypocrites, and the weak politicians who tolerate all of this, will not be a place I’d want my kids to live in. We better hope a huge turnout of clear thinking voters make the right choices to halt the destruction of this nation. Should be an easy decision.
