Party Chairs Unite to Seek Independent Analysis of November's Election
They had a name, too. Dr. Duncan Buell, a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The University of South Carolina. According to Snover, Dr. Buell could do his analysis without examining the county's voting machines, is willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and would work for free.
Dr. Buell previously sent an email to County Council, but Snover stated he received no reply.
There is some question about just how "independent" Dr. Buell would be, given that he's involved in former Presidential pretender Jill Stein's lawsuit against the state, seeking a decertification of the Express Vote XL voting system used in Northampton County.
Though he failed to address the request of both party chairs, Executive Lamont McClure told Council that ES&S, manufacturer of the ExpressVote XL, will be on hand at the next Council meeting to explain what went wrong and how hey are making sure it never happens again.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
The suggested analyst who would work for free does not sound independent at all - which probably explains why he would do it for free.
ReplyDeleteCan't be worse than listening to McClueless excuses.
ReplyDeleteLamont Lines
ReplyDeleteNo harm in listening to what this person has to say. Are people over there incapable of understanding what is true or not? Are they afraid of criticism or would they rather have someone come in and tell them that all is well and they did a good job? Get the voting system fixed! We keep hearing about protecting democracy but they cant select a sound efficient voting system. Maybe they would rather have a dubious result that they could manipulate for weeks after the election.
ReplyDeleteSo the company supplying the machines will give an accurate, unbiased answer? So McClure thinks we are that dumb? Well maybe we will be. But, then again, they have us with the ever closing window to get another system in place. But, maybe, that is the end game. Just in case they can't impeach our president the democrats are worried about the backlash either way. Oh, yes Obama, we are still clinging to our religion and guns in Pa.
ReplyDeleteThese machines are the best money can buy, when the money is buying politicians. In an effort to not undermine elections, we have undermined elections. Things fall apart quickly.
ReplyDeleteObviously, ES&S is biased. But so is the professor.
ReplyDelete"Obviously, ES&S is biased"
ReplyDeleteHow can you declared ES&S is biased? I suspect the same but I'm unable to show it.
ES&S is a piece of paper, an alias, a shell corporation, a legal fiction, very much the same as Sunblest Holdings LLC, or Urban Moving Systems LLC. We don't even know if ES&S parent company is American owned.
As Bernie has so excellently shown in prior post, whether your buying a parking lot, or a voting machine, this is how we get "snookered". If it can't make a turd it is one, so who's turd is it?
"Obviously, ES&S is biased. But so is the professor."
ReplyDeleteIt should be pointed out that unlike the anonymous ES&S, both Jill Stein and the professor use their own name...Peter J. Cochran style.
If a candidate doesn’t belong to one of the two corrupt corporate political parties they are “pretenders”.
ReplyDeleteThis country isn’t lacking courage, it’s lacking imagination.
So much for “democracy”.
Pathetic.
Wow. Is there enough tin foil for all the conspiracy theorists?
ReplyDeleteWhy engage in conspiracy theories when gross incompetence covers the spread?
ReplyDelete"If a candidate doesn’t belong to one of the two corrupt corporate political parties they are “pretenders”."
ReplyDeleteThe early on endorsements of the Main Stream Media's scripted Kamala Harris roll-out shows we too are not locally owed.
Those outside of this corrupt corporate political duopoly are and were never meant to be in control, it will not be aloud. There is only one purpose for these "pretenders" that is to apply as much pressure to those in power and to bear witness to those that don't.
Which is what Jill Stein is doing.
"Why engage in conspiracy theories when gross incompetence covers the spread?"
ReplyDeleteThis has "intelligent design" written all over it, like finding a watch on a beach with gross incompetence as the main winding spring.
We know the watch didn't get there by itself nor did the grossly incompetent main spring.
We've learned to manage incompetence so that it always favors a particular objective.
Yeah but twice a day the watch is right!
DeleteThe county bought them there XL Russian fill BOT machines from the Clinton crime familia! Putin had a guid pro qoe deal in the urainium one deal with Hillary when she sold Russians America's high grade urainium. There was also some of them Chinese girls thrown in as a bonus for Bill to play with since there had Epstein hang himself? LOL
ReplyDeleteHillary sent Pawalskis campaign donation when fact remains treasonist people are not currently swinging from the hangman's rope!
How do so many delusional Trumpublicans show up for every post?
ReplyDeletewas there ever a sheet at the polls to document
ReplyDeletecomplaints ? Voting machines newly used most likely to have problems and could have had a location of machine and problem to review after the election
"Wow. Is there enough tin foil for all the conspiracy theorists?"
ReplyDeleteHistory is a conspiracy.
Credit Mobilier ...it's how they have always "snookered" us.
9:00, so far as I know, there was no concerted effort to document complaints. At my poll, i asked about 30 voters and wrote a post detailing their concerns.
