The Other Shoe Drops

After reading "Giuliani’s Ukraine Team: In Search of Influence, Dirt and Money," it should be clear to one and all, Democrat and Republic, that an impeachment inquiry is demanded. Giuliani claimed to be looking for corruption by Joe Biden and son when it's pretty clear that he's up to his neck in it himself. We now know why Trump trashed Ukraine's Ambassador. It was at the behest of a bunch of crooks who wanted to start a natural gas company.

At least Giuliani has finally shut up.

  1. This is another liberal democrat witch hunt. People talk to one another. How about Biden? When does that investigation begin? Is this because Giuliani is the president's lawyer.

    Fake news again!

  2. The reality 1:41 AM is that Trump reached out to a foreign government and ask for political dirt on a opponent and, withheld aid to that government so as to put pressure on it and cough up dirt. Additionally, this current president has repeatedly attempted to obstruct an investigation into the matter>

    Who's paying for the wall?

Why the repeated defiance in producing his tax returns?

This president in totally incompetent and most likely has a case of sexually transmitted disease that is causing his brain to say the most ignorant things that normal people would not.

Stop drinking the kool-aid and put the future of your country before supporting a selfish individual!

    Lock him up!

The problem is that the Democrats, as well as "Establishment" (globalist) conservatives are both sending this country down the tubes too. We're rushing headlong toward a cliff and it going to be nasty, messy, and likely horrific. Trump was a long shot to stop this, and he is still somewhat useful in that it slows down this process, and we can hope people come to their senses to move forward with sane policies. But that hope is fading.

When Trump is gone, the pressure valve on the boiling pot that this country has become will be closed, and who knows what will happen then. When the Democrats get back into power, and they will, due to demographic changes, it will not be under the conciliatory and hopeful tone of the Obama 2008 campaign.

    Welcome to Weimerica.

  5. Definitely a story to watch unfold. Plus, any reports on today's remarks by the former Ukraine ambassador. But . . .. there's a problem.

The state of news reporting in America today is so corrupted, so fabricated and dishonest, you have a good chance of being misled by false information. This is especially true if you rely on just one nightly news program or listen to only one radio talk host. Also, if you get your knowledge from just the Morning Call or TV69.

Way too early to make much about whatever knowledge Giuliani has of these two. Or, if Trump was part of any of this. Just sit back and enjoy the show.

  8. Biden's son took advantage of his father's high position to enrich himself. Kinda' like what Trump's family is doing. I think it is wrong in both cases. But there is zero evidence of actual corruption. These are just debunked conspiracy theories.

In the case of the president's men, it's pretty clear now that there is actual corruption.

  9. How anyone regardless of your politics think that this mans son getting a 6 million dollar job with no experience etc is not wrong? Its Dc and its just a sewer.

I wish we had a healthy independent that could run that is not tainted with one side or another's stench that honestly would run the country for all the people. Its just sickening all the way around and such corruption on both sides.

  10. Every intelligence agency warned us foreign governments would be screwing with our next elections. Trump not only ignored the warnings.. he instead encouraged even more foreign involvement.

BTW: Giuliani didn't register as a foreign agent. Not something a smart lawyer wouldn't do!

  16. Keep in mind, the indictment against these two Americans of foreign birth does not mention Rudy G.

Also, the Indictment accuses those two of crimes more than one year before the Trump conversation with the new Ukraine President even took place. Finally, if Rudy G. was involved is some sort of conspiracy with the men he likely would have been indicted at the same time, don't you think?

Enough with the melodrama. We ousted Nixon (both parties) without issue. You either see a crook or you don't. I have no time for those who don't. You Trumpers are funny - you don't want "globalist" Repubs (as if there are any other kind) and don't want Democrats (who may be globalists too but at least they lean toward the worker more than Repubs) when Democrats are the closest to what you want. You want Bernie. You don't want Trump. Trump is the ultimate globalist. He's doing business all over the globe - shady business. But Bernie or Warren? God forbid they give you what they want AND also are on the side of LGBQ or African-americans and immigrants.

The current use of the term “globalism” refers to those who don’t believe in individual, national sovereignty, and borders. It has nothing to do with doing business with other nations. For example, the European Union construct has been about removing any member nation’s decision-making ability without approval of other EU nations. All members using a panel of UNELECTED bureaucrats to overrule citizen input. This is why citizens of England are having their vote to leave the EU ignored.

Trump is the furthest thing from a globalist. He doesn’t want people in Germany (for instance) determining how we decide to live our lives and manage our nation’s affairs.

Who do you think was paying for Rudy Colludy to fly all around the world to chase down debunked conspiracy theories and to collude with Ukraine? According to the indictment, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman were using foreign, laundered money to help the GOP.

These outsized political contributions allowed Parnas and Fruman's to quickly win access to the highest levels of the Republican Party — including face-to-face meetings with Trump at the White House and Mar-a-Lago.

You just don't get it, Biden doesn't matter, Trump is exposing him because he is in the #1 position, and that wasn't the plan. All these Biden favors, quid pro quo, for stepping aside for Hillary2016 where it would have all got buried and Biden gets an Ambassadorship.

Trump is showing he is willing to bring the whole house down if they go after he and his family and they are.

Trump holds back and waits for the next attack and easily responds in kind. Trump learned from a young age to keep files. Very much like the Jeffery Epstein's treasure trove you'll never hear about again.

How does the EU have anything whatsoever to do with US politics? I'll fill you in - nothing. The EU nations created the EU for economic power, something England will not have after Brexit. We're not about to "join" other nations for economic power.

    Is this really that difficult?

    ReplyDelete
  43. 3:49 -

Not difficult for me! The EU is an example of what global governance looks like. England's leaders have not been willing to do anything without first consulting with a panel of EU bureaucrats not elected by any nation's citizens to their position of power.

If England does leave (as their citizens voted years ago)England is free to make (and they will) their own agreements with other nations as England sees fit. One of the world's biggest producers (America) has made it clear it will trade with them.

I like FREEDOM and LIBERTY. For me, and the nation where I live.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Adding to my 3:49 comment . . . you will notice EU members are similar in allowing their nations to be overrun by immigrants and the cheap labor they MIGHT provide. Laws are being changed, ignored, etc. to accommodate the immigrant's demands. Portions of London, Munich, Paris, etc. have been carved out for Sharia law, etc. Longtime natural citizens are being pushed to the side.

Anyway, as you can see, I prefer full national sovereignty.

  46. In the big picture the battle is between global governance and national sovereignty. We are seeing the attempted establishment of world feudalism with the aristocracy and the peasants. The aristocracy will rule the world while the rest will be locked into being provided with basic necessitates, little freedom or choice.

  50. Yes, many entities involved! You might enjoy John Turley's recent piece in The Hill. Maybe the best summary of our predicament.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I have read Turley's account, which is incidentally an opinion piece. I read it before you refer to it. If EVERYTHING he writes is accurate, there is still zero evidence of any criminal behavior by either Biden. Now it is clear that Hunter Biden traded on his father's position to enrich himself. I view that as corrupt even though it is not criminal. It is akin to what Trump's sons are doing. It is akin to what his son-in-law and daughter are doing, and in their case, they are on the public dole.

There is zero evidence in Turley's account, which you call the best summary, of any criminal behavior. Now Biden did want a prosecutor fired, not bc was investigating corruption, but bc he was not. So I can fully understand why the networks are now refusing to give these tired conspiracy theories any oxygen. It is what my practice, as a local blogger, has been from the beginning.

It turns out that there is a conspiracy, though. It appears that involves Ukranians, a corrupt prosecutor, Rudy Giulianai, a natural gas deal, legal marijuana, foreign money to influence a US election in favor of Trump, the recall of a US ambassador who thew up roadblocks to these conspirators, and overt evidence of pressure to drum up dirt about Biden. The of this "deep state" conspiracy is none other than the President of the United States.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thank you for reading Turley's piece. I suggested it NOT for inference of anyone's crimes. But, he provides a very good analysis of what the fear of GLOBALISM is all about.

Assuming we read the same piece, Turley explains why BOTH parties tend to become corrupted. As a result, the average citizen is left behind. Even citizen voting gets in the way!

Members of Congress too frequently sell their souls to those individuals and organizations who fund their campaigns to remain in power and feed at the public trough.

There is unethical, sometimes criminal, behavior involving both Democrat and Republicans in Washington. Our system is being taken advantage of. Here's the 'swamp' Trumps talks about. It's grown too big and contains some embarrassing things many in Congress are trying to hide. Connections in China, the Middle East, and Africa.

Juries and (recently) Judges determine who is guilty. Not me.

    Anyway, appreciate your response.

    ReplyDelete
  53. We are headed to a democratic dictatorship. All the Republicans that demanded Clinton be cooperative are saying it's ok for Trump not to comply. Double standard.

    ReplyDelete
  54. But, he provides a very good analysis of what the fear of GLOBALISM is all about.

I love these motherfuckers who are suddenly concerned about globalism. Decades ago, these same people were deriding Michael Moore for making Roger and Me which illustrated the closure of American auto plants. And these are Repubs! Oh, the sweet irony. It's lost on these simpletons.
