Rumor Mill - Connie Nelson Ponders Judgeship

Informed sources tell me that Attorney Connie Nelson is seeking the Democratic nomination to the judgeship that will be created by the unexpected resignation of Judge FP Kimberly McFadden in November. Because the  primary has already passed, it will be up to the political parties to name candidates. Democrats Abe Kassis and Josh Fulmer are reportedly interested, as is Republican Vic Scomilio.

Currently in private practice, Nelson worked as as an Assistant DA in Northampton County for 13 years. She is the person who was made the object of a coarse and racially insensitive joke by another assistant DA named  Tom Carroll. He placed a gorilla doll in her office, which led to his resignation.

Now he's running for District Attorney.

If she is the Democratic nominee, voters will get plenty of reminders of Carroll's bizarre behavior.

  1. She should be nominated by the Party! It is Time!

  2. It would be sweet revenge if she defeated Carroll. We would then see how big his balls are by continuing to wear his monkey ties to the courthouse.

  3. Can anyone teach me how to train a Pomeranian to stay put on my bald head because I for one can't weave a horses as atop of baldness?

  4. While her retelling that story might hurt Carroll, I'm not so sure it helps her win a judge race.

  6. I like her but she would have a lot of civil actions against her in the system to be considered a Judicial candidate.

  7. You are full of shit and are attempting to smear her over a foreclosure action in an estate she represented where the property owner was in default. That had nothing to do with her. It is extremely misleading for you to attempt to muddy her up this wAy, without any basis in fact.

  8. Not a liar, check UJS portal District Court 03-2-03, also the civil docket system for the county and the MDJ list her as the DEFENDANT!...NOT the attorney of record for ANY estate or case. Don't trust me...just check it out for yourself then come back and apologize.

  9. I will repeat myself. You are completely full of shit and either have no idea what you are doing or are intentionally tryng to smear her. I suspect the latter, which is why you responded back so quickly. The fact that you are here on a Saturday night tells me you are a troll.

I know how to check people. You don't and act irresponsible. First, contrary to your irresponsible assertion, there are no federal actions. Second, the county docket reveals only the matter where she was serving as fiduciary, and has nothing to do with her. On the magistrate docket, there are four complaint by the same landlord against a "Constance Nelson," with no middle initial, and only one of them resulted in a judgment. And I have no idea whether the Constance sued is the same person who is interested in a judgeship.

You lie and claim you like her but she has too many liens. If she has any, it is at most one, and it is satisfied.

So you're the anonymous coward who needs to apologize.

Try the bullshit somewhere else, not here.

  10. I think she is putting it out there to run solely to smear Carroll & likely irchestrated by Susan Wilde as she works for that same law firm that smeared Marty Nothstein.

Morning Call likely a party to this scheme of PR bullshit!
